Moved to Vegas 25 years ago. Miss 3 things about Oxnard - Family, the beach and Otani’s. Been fortunate to eat in some of the best restaurants in the U.S. I would choose Otani’s Fried Teriyaki Snapper with double rice over any other meal that’s out there.
Otani’s was a staple for me growing up and had the fortune of knowing the family. Crave it constantly and go there every day whenever I make it back to town.

the best sea food in town. I used to eat there when I live in Oxnard .Now I live in Santa Maria. My brother is in the Hospital in Oxnard so I go every Saturday
I grew up coming to eat at here with my family, in the 70 now my kids with their family eat here too the all love it , recomend it 100% food taste so good as I remember to bad is to far from me now but everytime I go visit my dad's grave is a given to stop at Othani's and thats was our spot in the corner where all the family use to sit together and now us , it makes me cry just thinking about it🥹
