But talking about service, can you imagine our surprise when a waitress walked over to our table and gave us 50.00 in cash (not credit) saying that we overpaid on our last visit - a month ago! I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. “I've been going to this place since I was attending Rio Mesa! I have since moved to Vancouver, WA and there are teriyaki places EVERYWHERE. None compare, still. Sauce is a perfect texture, veggies are always perfectly steamed, portions are amazing. I was so glad to see that this place survived Covid.“

“Was passing by the area and was craving for some Mediterranean food. Glad we tried their gyros. My partner had the beef and I had the lamb. The lamb was definitely more flavorful.
The portion was generous. Oh, definitely get the fries. It was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it was perfectly seasoned.
Service was quick and all the guys working there during the Sunday lunch hours were great. They kept the place clean and tidy. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.“

“Had some time to kill this week and headed in to have some lunch, ordered a carne asada taco and albóndigas. Having worked in Mexican food places I figured the soup was gonna take longer. But it took about 20-25 mins to get the taco and the soup. The soup was delicious! But I had to cancel the taco since it took so long. If u are in a rush do not eat there..
If you have plenty of time and like homemade tortillas head in. The workers where friendly, but sadly I never got my money back for my taco 3.50 isn't much but it does leave me with bit of a poor experience because of it. Could have been 5 stars. Again food is delicious and greatly seasoned.“

“I used to eat here as a child. I moved back to area and finally got around to visiting again. Its as good as I rememeber. Got a double Billy burger with bacon. Taste was very good with some char like I enjoy. Tomatoes, lettuce and condiments added to it very well. Also got 2 of their tacos. They fry them there on the flat top. Its a bit greasy but thats where the flavor is!! Ill definitely continue going. Its kind of old looking place but the food is worth it with decent prices.“

We’ve been going here for years and I always get the cold udon gomuku. It comes with lettuce, shrimp tempura, julienne cucumbers, fish cake, marinated mushrooms, seaweed, and the yummiest sauce. Their fried chicken and calamari are good too. We’ve also had the udon soup and rice bowl combos. Haven’t tried the bento boxed or sushi. Really, we just come here for the udon fix. The waitstaff are always friendly with great service. It’s a small joint in a strip mall but it’s been around forever and is doing something right!“

I had a sopa de pollo and a horchata and it was amazing. There's a decent selection of other dishes to choose from (including enmoladas) and they make their masa by hand every day. Really good.“
