I went with the Obregon Pitaya Bowl and it was fresh and filling. The store was clean and bright and had a good chill vibe.”

“La Casita Mexican Grill has been one of those go-to spots for my family for years since we live close by, and it never disappoints. It’s the kind of place that feels familiar every time you walk in, with great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

My personal favorite is the asada tacos—they’re always packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and consistently hit the spot. You can really taste the quality in every bite.

It’s a place we keep coming back to, whether it’s a quick meal or just craving something we know will be good every time. Definitely a local favorite I’d recommend to anyone nearby!”

“I came to Enzo's after seeing a post online. I'm not a big fan of the paranormal but I am a fan of good food. Stopped by Friday evening with my partner. The food surpassed my expectations. We ordered the calamari. The flavor was good and the portion size was great to share. I ended up ordering the chicken picatta as my main and my partner got the vodka linguine. I absolutely loved the chicken picatta, chicken was tender and seasoned well. I just wish the sauce had a little more salt, but that's just my preference. The vodka pasta was excellent. No complaints there. Ended dinner with a creme brulee which was also very delicious. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Our drinks we got were also very good and well balanced. My only complaint and if you can even call it that was that I wished there was a bit more light in the dinner area, but again that's a preference of mine. I can say that I will come back again and definitely will recommend this place for date night.”

“Stopped by Cochina 1912 in Santa Paula for the first time and this place has a great vibe. Right on Main Street in a historic building from 1912, you can feel that old-school charm with the exposed red brick and clean, cool interior.

Ordered a big bowl of posole — seriously a huge portion and packed with flavor. Couldn’t even finish it, but it was on point. The chips and salsa were solid, and they’ve got a whole lineup of hot sauces. Tried them all — mild, medium, hot, extra hot — and honestly the mild ended up being my favorite. Still full of flavor without overpowering everything else.

Downtown Santa Paula keeps getting better with spots like this popping up. Definitely a chill place to hang out and grab a good meal. I’ll be back.

“Legit street tacos. Authentic flavor for barbacoa, cabeza, and lengua tacos. I ordered the babacoa plate to go and the rice and beans tasted just like my mom makes. The barbacoa was savory, herb-y, and tender. They were selling these big avocados at the counter for only a dollar, I bought one and they offered to slice it up to add to the tacos I ordered to eat in. Warm and welcoming owners. Great food.

“Reviews looked good and was not disappointed. I had the Carnitas, which were tasty, and my son had enchiladas, he claimed were very good. The House Margarita was a pleaser, served in a bowl shaped glass. The service was excellent. We were slow to order but our waitress was patient. She didn’t “disappear” when we “needed another minute.” She continued to check on us after to see how we were doing. We were just visiting but I look forward to coming back here again when I’m in the area.”
