The beauty of Yelp is that we are able to try places we'd never notice. Taqueria 3 Estrellas is one of those. Simple, neighborhood-ey, and totally great. I had tasty, real enchiladas with beans and rice. I asked for two chicken and two made from carnitas, and they were yummy. I'm on the road, but one way or another, I'll be back.
New to Santa Paula and looked on Yelp for a good spot with caldo in the area and the spot came up. Boy it did not disappoint and a new favorite spot for me. Picked up a caldo de Cameron on a cold rainy day and it was the best decision I made. Placed my order and within 20 min my order was order. Wow! The carne asado burrito was about the size of my head. Half of it filled me to the brim and I was able to eat it for lunch the next day, a 2 day meal in one burrito! Paula was so kind to us, she even brought us 2 HUGE glasses of horchata, oh you already know that I will be going back.
