We discovered Covina 1912 on our day trip. We really enjoyed the food, the place is modern and light and service is wonderful. I especially liked the shrimp tostada, but the fish tacos and the chicken mole were also great. We over-ordered, so took the chicken mole home and it still tasted great heated up. We will definitely make this a regular stop on our next outings to Santa Paula and Ojai.
I love their green guacamole salsa. It is so delicious with the chips. We've tried their carne asada plate, chicken burritos and chilaquiles - all very good. Their rice is delicious.

The food was excellent and it's a cool building. They need to streamline the ordering process or have waiters take orders from tables. There was quite a backup at the counter and a bit of a wait to get food but the staff are great. Will definitely go back
