“Many of my friends have been raving about this place which also has another location fromVentura. Thus, I had to try it to see for myself how it is compared to other local Thai restaurants. I have to say that the dishes we ordered had its unique taste to it. We tasted that the dishes were a tad bit sweeter than the other restaurants. The Tom kha noodle soup was much more coconuty and thick in taste. It was delicious! We had also ordered the Pad Woon sen, pad see ew, and pad kee mao. All the dishes were delicious and filling. They had given a generous portion of food. It is located atThe corner of the center next to Cronies.Service was excellent. Ambiance was casual.“

“Don’t judge a book by its over. Once you walk through the doors you are transported to another place. This restaurant is beautiful and a peaceful place to enjoy a tasty meal. The menu features both Thai and Peruvian food. We ordered Peruvian dishes that were incredible. The meat was very tenderized and flavored in a way that will having you craving it for days after your visit! Amazing service and a must try if you’re in the area looking for something new.“
“I went to lunch here with my friend who recently went here for lunch and she absolutely loved it and wanted me to try it. OK. I love trying new places! The inside was super clean and had a good ambience. Our waitress was over-the-top great and was there to give recommendations and answer any questions we had. She also delivered our food in a very timely manner and made sure our drinks were always filled. My friend and I both had the lunch special of the Pad Thai with vegetables and their dumplings. The lunch special came with rice (brown or white, a spring roll and soup or salad) I chose the brown rice (very different than your typical brown rice) and the salad. The salad had a Thai peanut dressing on it and it was absolutely flavorful and delicious! The salad was very fresh and had carrot shavings, cucumber and tomato. The spring roll was very fresh and tasty especially when dipped in the orange colored sauce they serve the dish with. My friend had the white rice and Miso soup which she enjoyed. Now for the pad Thai.......I was expecting a typical Thai dish of pad Thai. This was not it. I didn't think it had much flavor, or at least what I am used to, and it wasn't spicy at all. I did ask for hot chili sauce which they had and delivered to us. It did help a bit but I wasn't a fan. The veggies were just ok. They did seem to be very fresh. My only comment was that I didn't enjoy the flavor of it. Now my friend...she absolutely LOVED it! She had the same exact dish as I did but obviously she has a different palate and/or taste in food. It just goes to show you how restaurant reviews vary with each person. We did both agree that the dumplings were great and flavorful. With that being said, I will most likely go back and try something different and give it another try. How can I not when the service was fabulous, the food was fresh and the restaurant was very clean.“
“My wife had been pretty sick for a couple weeks unable to eat anything solid. Once we got her fixed up and out of the hospital her first request was Mai Thai- we ordered Tom Kah and yellow curry, things she could eat. Every spoon fool packed a flavor punch that was just mind blowing. I don’t care what day of the of week it is, or if you’re fresh out of the hospital- every bite is heaven. Best Thai food in Newbury/Thousand Oaks without a doubt.“
“This place really shocked us with how great the food was. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious. You know it's a good Thai place when the spicy levels are actually spicy. We got the pad see ew, crispy duck, thai iced tea, and green curry. All of it was great. Highly recommend.“
“The curry is amazing. Hidden gem. Michelin guide MUST come here. Thai curries have been another symbol of the diverse food culture in LA and THIS place needs to be recognized for their food integrity and authenticity. If you love authentic Thai, Suvarnaphumi (named after Thailand’s airport) truly bursts your tastebuds into a whole other dimension.Order: Avocado Green Curry, Yellow Currry, Handmade eggrolls w/pork, Filled fried wontons, Tom Yum soup, Peach iced teaWorth the drive! Just do it.“
“I heard some great things about Dee Thai Cuisine, so I decided to give it a try. Upon stepping into the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by a nice Thai art ambiance, setting the tone for what turned out to be a delightful dining experience. Opted for the crispy fish mango dish. When it arrived, I was impressed by how nicely it was presented on the plate. As I took my first bite, I was met with a delightful burst of flavors--the battered fish was cooked to perfection, boasting a satisfying crispiness while remaining light on the palate. The crunchiness of the fish and the freshness of the mango salad worked together so well. I recommend trying their Thai tea and asking for the spice caddy to customize your meal. The service was attentive and friendly making the experience even better.“

“We have tried Chicken Dumpling, Tom Yum Soup ( shrimp and chicken), Fried noodles with chicken - all items are well prepared and value for money. Ambience is ordinary and nothing fancy. Service is prompt. Highly recommended. Specially for above food items, you will never go wrong.“
“Tamarind Thai impressed me with its ability to customize traditional dishes, catering perfectly to specific dietary preferences.I ordered red curry, prepared without fish sauce, and retained its rich and aromatic essence, proving that authenticity can be maintained even with ingredient modifications. The basil fried rice, ordered without egg, was a flavorful companion to the curry, bursting with the fragrant essence of basil that elevated the dish. Overall, Tamarind Thai delivers a delightful culinary experience, showcasing their skill in crafting dishes that are both delicious and accommodating.“
