Rumfish y Vino Reviews
A beautiful friendly restaurant with a unique and delicious menu and drinks.
My first visit was this past Sunday and I really enjoyed this establishment! We sat outside and the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful and the outside patio had plenty of shade, which we appreciated. We had the ceviche and it was good. The queso fundido, while very flavorful, I found the cheese a bit overcooked and the burnt edges gave off a funny taste. I usually prefer my fundido to have a cheese pull, rather than something you cut with a spoon. But that’s...read full review
A little loud, but the grilled Mahi Mahi tacos were fantastic... I wouldn't go here to have a conversation... but super delicious dinner and excellent service

Rumfish y Vino offers an excellent ceviche, innovative flatbread with apricot jam, and a good selection of cocktails and wines. The friendly and attentive service enhances the relaxing patio, which has heaters to counter the cool, humid weather. The hanger steak is fantastic, and the restaurant also features happy hour delights of food and drink from Monday to Friday, 3-6 p.m. The menu is thoughtfully designed, and the selection of cocktails and wines is incredible. Desserts are a standout, especially the key lime pie, making it a great spot for celebrations or casual dining.
The food is consistently outstanding, with innovative dishes and creative cocktails. The halibut dish is highly recommended, and the beet salad is also enjoyed, though some prefer more beets and less arugula. The seafood stew, hanger steak, and sea bass are all delicious, with the fish and mussels being fresh. The patio with a fireplace is welcoming and pleasant, creating a vibrant atmosphere with a fun, European vibe. The whole experience leaves a positive impression of Ventura.
