Food is incredible, their carne asada is top notch, all the salsas are flavorful with a good kick to them, the food is ready almost instantly, and the place is extremely clean and tidy. “If I could give this place 6 stars I would! This is my go to taco shop in Ventura. My only complaint is they're closed on Mondays and I almost always crave them that day. Other then the tacos they've got many other delicious dishes to choose from including menudo on the weekends in the morning. I highly recommend the pastor tacos! Family run and the service is always spot on. I like that if you go there often enough they're most likely going to start remembering you and what you order and those places are hard to find anymore.

“This was my third time visiting this restaurant but first time dining. First two visits were strictly for the churros, which I highly recommend. I finally got to experience and dive into the Mexican cuisine. I can't speak highly enough about the customer service from our waitress. She was an expert when it came to recommending her favorite dishes. In the end I will say that I was 100% satisfied with the torta and ice cold beer. My girlfriend got the Chipotle chicken and she absolutely loved it as well. Again, highly recommend.“

“Great little local spot. Excellent food, I had two shredded beef tacos and my boyfriend had a shredded beef tacos and a cheese enchilada. Beans and rice were delicious. There was a little wait for service but we were there on a busy Tuesday lunch weekday. We had a comfy booth. There was plenty of parking but we parked a lil distance from the entrance. Food server was attentive, had a smile on her face, very friendly and accommodating. We will for sure be back.“

He was so gracious to accommodate my small wedding reception. We had about 30 people for our party and everyone was very content. The mole cafe was so finger licking good. It was so good to see people from our party cleaning up their plates with the tortillas! Hoping to come back soon.“

With 700 or more tequilas, we were able to order flights of several reposado tequilas to try. It was amazing. I wish they had a tequila sommelier on staff to walk us through each glass. “We love going here. Very authentic food. The menu is almost too big, hard to make a choice. We've had great service and enjoyed the owner stopping by our table. He and his son took advantage of COVID down time and remodeled making it a cozy place to enjoy a good meal.

Parking: We've been there at different times mid week and have been able to get easy parking. It might be a little harder on weekends
