You ever watch a western film and want to get a grip on how it used to be walking into a restaurant from a western. Well this is close enough to a western movie and a los Angeles vibe. With sitting lowrider impalas freshly painted across the street you can enjoy your Milanesa and beer.
Got some breakfast in the morning with coffee. It was ok but there was only a small portion of potatoes with the meal. Like most places these days it was overpriced! When I grew up breakfast meals were the cheapest everywhere so that’s why people went out to socialize in public. This is the older side of town it looks like they’ll rebuild this whole area in the future! Nice little place the waitress was pleasant!
Carne asada burrito were good.. Did pick up order.

La Escondida Restaurant | Mexican is a little hole in the wall that feels close to a western movie with a Los Angeles vibe. Sitting lowrider impalas are across the street. The food is delicious and hot. The Milanesa, machaca, and chorizo are mentioned. The flavor is spectacular, and the burrito is not greasy. The salsa has great flavor. Service can be a lil slow to order due to only one server, but once the order is taken, the server is kind and attentive.
