“The food and salsa is so GOOD! I'm Mexican American and this is as Authentic as it gets. It is like eating in a Mexican person's home, they just opened the door and let you in. Our visit started out bad because the young thin lady with the long braid who took our order was super rude, irritated, and impatient. No one else was behind us we just asked a couple of questions but it was like she was mad we were there making her work. If the food wasn't good I'd never go back but it was. The quesabirria tacos were SO GOOD. The asada was good in the tacos. The chips were freshly made. The AVOCADO SALSA....WOW... BEST SALSA EVER! The rice and beans were alright. The tomatillo salsa was good too. I just wish they had limes, they have cucumber slices. They have Mexican cokes which is great. It is so pretty inside and the gentleman who cooked was warm and friendly. Just get rid of that girl or have her do another job besides order taking because she's going to drive customers away, people don't like to be treated badly.“

“We have been ordering 805 since they were slanging tacos from the curb! So we already knew the quality we would be getting. This was our first time hiring them for catering. Per usually the quality didn't disappoint. Our server Jorvin was excellent. So sweet. Busted his butt in HOT weather and didn't skip a beat. (We tried to take care of him with shade/ice water and a fan.) He accommodated a couple of guests with dietary restrictions as well as hooked the kiddos up! Ironically our 3 year old, who's typically the shy kid who speaks to nobody, was Jorvin's BFF!! Kid spent more time at the table with Jorvin than anyone else! Also, kid was a BIG fan of the Jamaica!! “Paris may have its sidewalk cafes, but Camarillo has this gem! Great eats at fair prices. I love their outside sidewalk tables overlooking El Camino Real, US 101. Dining while counting fire trucks and imagining commuters/travelers on their way to wonderful exotic destinations is another reason why I keep returning.“

Don’t post prices on the menu and the carne asada plate is absolutely dreadful. $18 for a flat top grilled piece of flank steak with zero seasoning. This is not good. “We had a real great lunch here. Our waitress, Dorthy, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the different dishes and made great suggestions on what to get! “Para el dueño: Cual es su regla de regreso cuando se vende un producto que está echado a perder? El Viernes 10/21 compramos comida como muchas veces ya que somos clientes desde hace 4 años. Uno de los productos fue una jaiba imitación, la pedimos en la carnicería y no la dieron en una bolsa, al llegar a casa nos dimos cuenta que estaba echada a perder, no pensamos que fuera un problema, nunca nos había pasado y este producto no es de su tienda solo lo revenden. Hablamos a la tienda y les informamos de lo qué pasó, la joven nos dijo que lo lleváramos para de nos devolvieran el dinero. La tienda cierra a las 8 y no pudimos. Al siguiente día fuimos y la joven que estaba según ella de manager, se porto súper grosera, nos gritó que porque no nos habíamos fijado en la fecha de caducidad, que porque nos habíamos esperado hasta el siguiente día y después nos aventó el dinero y nos dijo que nos fuéramos. Esta actitud es inaceptable, dudo que el dueño quiera sepa o esté de acuerdo con la actitud de esta mujer. No volveremos a esta tienda y haremos todo lo posible para que le gente sepa de esto y ya no compren aquí.“

“The crispy tacos are great. So is the carnitas. It is super quiet at lunch during the week, but busy on Sunday. The bar is a nice place to watch sports and eat, as well. I will say some days the beans seem homemade, but others like they came from a can. I really enjoy the place, though. Great iced tea“

“I came here with my family after a day at the beach and it was wonderful! When we walked up to the restaurant there was a line to see the hostess, (I took that as a sign this was a good place in the area) and they had free water outside with cucumbers in it. It was so refreshing, especially since we just came from the beach! Before we went up to order, we were brought a chips and flight of salsa which had three different salsas on it. (All were fantastic) I ordered the Carne Asada and my wife ordered the Ceviche and a Margarita. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for some amazing food!“

I had a shrimp taco, some of the breaded shrimp had a bit more breading than ideal. The Mexican street corn though was quite tasty and they provided a good amount for the serving.“

“Best Mexican food in Simi Valley. Great little family operation. Their breakfast is probably the best thing they do. Best breakfast burrito, and huevos rancheros I’ve ever had. Their rice and beans are excellent. Love their burritos, shrimp tostadas, shrimp tacos, and tacos durados with el pastor. Hector and his wife always make you feel so welcome. “I haven’t eaten at the Westlake location for about 5 yrs but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly and helpful, the dining room very clean and the enchiladas verdes with rice snd salad were really tasty! I will go back for sure!!!!!

“As a frequent customer I had my first disappointing meal here. Rice and beans were really dry and the whole #10 combo was only warm in temperature. This is not the norm and had I not been seated against the wall between people I would have gone up to the counter for a re-do. “Now this is a good taco place! Will absolutely bey go to place from now on. We tried a bunch of their tacos. Chicken, asada, carnitas, birria, and al pastor.

The pastor and carnitas were by far my favorite (always are) but this place didn't let me down. The asada was fantastic, I haven't had good asada in a while so that's definitely worth having. Birria was great, but we both thought the chicken was quite dry.

We got it to go and went to Enegren. The guys were super nice and the had the good ready super fast! And we ordered a ton.“
