Just a nice simple, rustic bakery in the middle of a small town. Very unassuming but packed with tasty surprises. The Classic Sourdough they offer ranks among the best I've tasted! Sourdough, in my opinion, surpasses all other breads--I love it. This bakery is an hour away from me, but I made a slight detour on my way to the coast of Ventura. I used their sourdough bread to make sandwiches for a picnic lunch on Channel Island National Park, and it was a huge hit with my companions....read full review
The bread here is great! I loved the sourdough and they'll slice it too. Some items were overpriced. The selection was great and the staff was friendly. I just struggle with paying $8 for 4 English muffins. I will be going back for

Stopped by Roan Mills Bakery while in Fillmore. This place is more than just a bakery. There are fresh vegetables and herbs. Deli sandwiches with vegan options. Plus a variety of coffee drinks. Everything looks delicious. I had the cherry danish and vanilla latte. Both were absolutely amazing! The staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be stopping back in on my next trip to Fillmore!
