Authentic and exceptional jambalaya far from the big easy! The gumbo looked good too, but the seafood jambalaya was exceptional! Generous portions of crab, shrimp and crawfish with the perfect amount of spice!
It’s not often something new and different comes along in the Thousand Oaks culinary seen. West Of Orleans is just that, there are no substitutes for this genre of food. Marcus has created an authentic Southern dining experience that must be tried to believe. I ordered the Chicken Gumbo, Seafood Etouffée and the Black Eyed Peas. Takeout only restaurant. The jambalaya is fantastic and has brought me back multiple times. The sandwiches have amazing flavor but do seem to be very juicy (sometimes the bread is soaked through if you don't immediately eat the sandwich).
