“I absolutely love this place it's a gem in Oxnard. I've grown up in Oxnard my whole life and have been eating here for over 20 years since I was kid. My family and my partner's family have eaten here for generations. The food has definitely changed, but changed to make the food healthier in my opinion. It may not be some people's preference anymore because people have different taste buds and some people don't like change. The portions are always plenty. The food is delicious and I'm happy to continue to support this restaurant for another 20 years and bring my kids as a rite of passage in Oxnard. Thank you golden chicken inn for the great food and the generational memories my family has had thanks to yours.“
“I was there today for takeout, wanted to try something different. This place is across the street from the Oxnard train and bus station. I was pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. I had the combo meat and vegetables. Mushrooms, celery, onion, carrots, pea pods and zucchini. All cooked just right. The fried rice was good and there was lots of both. It was cheaper than a burrito and a good change of pace. No tortilla or beans, that was fine with me. When to La Gloria's grabbed some pineapple slices that cooled it down for me. Plus the 40 of Modelo didn't hurt. I'd go back again for sure“
“My husband and I have good experience at Hunan Garden Chinese Restaurant. We have lunch special Hunan Beef and Chicken Garlic . Delicious food !!!Impressive !!! If Hunan Garden Chinese Restaurant keep as the authentic flavor ....I believe will better than Pf Chang Restaurant.Keep it up !!!Good luck ? ,Your guest from North Area (not local Oxnard) .“
“I have gone the past few days for beef & Broccoli, orange chicken, and jalapeño chicken. Each time I have gone, the food has been amazing for the price. The staff is friendly, all in all a worthwhile joint to check out if you'd like to support a local business. Comparable to Panda Ex.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap parking, and it looks standard wheelchair friendly.“

“THIS PLACE HAS THE FINEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE ENTIRE COUNTY!I have been to a chinese restaurant that won first place with the VC Star's readers and it PALES in comparison to the wonderfully delicious flavors of THIS RESTAURANT!The chow mein is exquisite. You taste serious seared-in flavors and it is the correct type of chow mein, plus extra flavor and seasonings. I have to tell you about something else, though. The chicken in the chow mein is of EXCEPTIONAL quality. It is possible for a good cook to make cheap chicken moist, tender and enjoyable. These people use that technique, only it is applied to TRULY HIGH QUALITY MEAT. You will be shocked at how this food is real.I will NEVER go ANYWHERE else again! Order some chow mein and see for yourself! And remember, the meats here are quality! They actually spent money on acquiring quality ingredients, unlike some.“
“I'm from NYC and was craving for Pork Fried Rice with Boneless Spare Ribs. The lady at the counter looked at me if I was crazy... Then realized Boneless SR is a North Eastern Dish (cause Florida doesn't serve it either unless it's NY Style Chinese ?)Anyways, instead of BSR, I had their chicken Teriyaki.Omg, it was so good with the Pork Fried Rice... But also realized they serve Large portion for 2-3 people ?Had dinner lunch and dinner again from the amount I gotten for $28Absolutely recommended it. And if your from the Northern East Coast like NY, yeah... You won't find Boneless Spare Ribs ??Also they are remodeling, so only take outside for now“
