“It's been a little more than a few months since I originally posted this photo as a Facebook story. What can I say about the food? These Garlic Cheese Rolls ARE addicting!! Everything on the menu is of the highest quality and as a result, it scrumptious flavor resonates throughout their cuisine! Their fast, friendly service can't be beat. Ambiance? Their menu is their amazing ambiance. There are three of us who are weekend repeat customers who despite having our own personal favorites, still love trying something new. We'll NEVER become bored as the flavors always keep us hungry for more. Thankfully the very ample portions such as in the pizzas and pasta menu items are large enough to have plenty of leftovers for later in the week.“
“Great little mom and pop shop with excellent food and outstanding customer service. Decided to try it out on their 8th anniversary while they were offering $8 large pizzas. Added a couple toppings for $2 each and well worth it. That also offer homemade Lasagna and Fettuccine Alfredo. I'll be back to try those. In addition, they have sub sandwiches, spaghetti, calzones, salad and wings. Cool place!! I highly recommend it.“
“We’ve been going here for years and we like it very much. I don’t know if they changed chef, recipes or owner but the food was NOT the same. The bread that is the most delicious bread I’ve had in a restaurant (and look forward to it) was very different (no bad, but nothing like before) the antipasto salad was so overdressed that when we were done it had and inch of dressing on the bottom, I had pasta with clam marinara sauce …… Awful…. It tasted like they opened the can of sauce and dumped it on top of the pasta and they did the same with the clams. It tasted like the metal from the can, no seasoning at all. Needless to say I sent it back and lost my appetite. My husband ordered something Alfredo.. it was in a bath of buttery sauce not pleasant.if you changed recipes…. Please go back to the original one. We will go back.. hopefully it was just a bad day.“
“Ate here awhile ago and remembered how good the meatball sandwich was. Decided to try again and did not disappoint! Ordered with cheese and bell pepper and the pepper was pre cooked not hard like others. Had the antipasto salad and was so fresh! We loved it and will be back soon. Sorry waited so long to try again.“
“Sunday Brunch is the Best! It has a buffet and with a broad variety of food, the tacos de pastor (yummy)! Great environment with an awesome Mariachi! Service was Great, waiters and waitresses are very attentive! They also have my favorite: Rainbow roll during their sushi hours! Totally recommend, Stop By!“
“A classic family-owned Italian restaurant. It hasn't changed much in 50+ years. We dined on veal parmesan and spaghetti & meatballs dinners. The food was simple and mildly spiced. No grated cheese was offered for the spaghetti. The hot rolls were tasty and a little denser than a lot of Italian bread - very enjoyable. The rock-hard refrigerated butter was difficult to spread on the rolls. Was it just being young that made those meals so tasty back then? We liked the food and had spaghetti to take home.“
“A Neapolitan pizza place with a good deal for lunch and some great ingredient pairing, but overall skimpy in portioning those toppings. We went in for the lunch special which is an 8" pizza for $10. I decided to pay $19 for a full 12" of the capricciosa pizza. The crust was super chewy with prosciutto, olives, artichokes and mushrooms. I loved how the acid from the olives balanced the meatier prosciutto and mushrooms, but I do wish they added more prosciutto. In the picture there are only a few slices added. I don't think I'd come back but it's great to see Neapolitan pizza around these parts!“
“The best lunch deal in town! Best service . Owner is kind , considerate and provides fantastic customer service ! Today he didn't have change for two $5 bills and he was going to accept $5 , less than the under $6 cost for 2 slices of pizza , salad and drink lunch combo . He said not to worry next time I can pay. How Very generous! However, I dug into my car for change to pay him in full! Been coming here for a long time . Love their pizza! Amount .“
“Wheelchair accessibility: Nobody in my party was in a wheelchair but I did notice that there are no steps From the parking lot all the way to a table. There's plenty of room to put a wheelchair at a table simply removing one of the restaurants chairs. I don't think a person in a wheelchair would have any difficulty at all.“
“The service was really good, and I got my spicy turkey and broccolini panini within ten minutes of ordering during a busy lunch rush on a Saturday. Loved the simplicity - and layers of flavors and textures. Spicy and crunchy and creamy - great bites! For sure will be back to try more things! Let's be honest here they are new vendor within a food hall with restrictions (like alcohol service and size and seating options) - you can't fault them on some of the things that inherently come with that.“
“Super classy great food/service at reasonable price - in historic surroundings. We visited for our anniversary, and I can’t recall a more enjoyable evening. The settings & furniture were exquisite. Get to your reservation a little early and enjoy the surrounding historical buildings gathered from around Oxnard into a Heritage Center. Each property has a little description that is quite educational. Or, wait until you’ve enjoyed the great food for that after-dessert stroll. The food was amazing, from Mahi Salad to full steak dinner with excellent merlot. Same a few sips of that red wine to enjoy with their chocolate cake with raspberry, whipped cream & pecan topping. Whew. As you can witness with the photo, the servings are huge. (We took home another full meal - really.)“
