Portola Italian Kitchen offers a consistently enjoyable dining experience with friendly staff and excellent food. Guests have visited for weekend lunches and evening dinners, often praising the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. The staff is accommodating, helpful with suggestions, and patient, especially with larger groups. The menu features a variety of tasty dishes, including pasta, meatballs, bruschetta, salad, fish, sausage, and desserts, many of which are considered some of the best Italian food around. Notable dishes such as the Fettuccine Alfredo, short rib ravioli, lemon herb chicken with pasta, and lasagna receive high praise for their flavor and generous portions. The restaurant also offers a popular happy hour menu enjoyed by many friends. While some reviews mention overcooked salmon and chicken, overall satisfaction remains high. Guests appreciate the free garlic bread and the view of the marina from certain seating areas. Beverages like the pink lady drink and limoncello Martini are also enjoyed, though some find the former a bit too sweet. Despite occasional service minor slips, such as delayed garlic bread, the food quality and friendly atmosphere make Portola Italian Kitchen a favorite for those seeking good Italian cuisine in a pleasant setting.

Marissa is amazing will be back just for her! Food was great
Over the past year, we have visited for weekend lunch and various evenings for dinner. Each time has been a lovely experience. Friendly staff and service, as well as delicious food. Many of our friends have enjoyed the happy hour menu. We're so thrilled to have Portolas nearby!
Pretty good! Extra star for our server and his patience with our large group. He was very accommodating. He helped us with adjusting our umbrella, taking pictures, recommending wine, etc.

The food was tasty but the salmon and chicken was overcooked. The cheese on our pasta would have benefitted from a little more time in the oven too but overall it satisfied us. There were plenty of leftovers too and free garlic bread for the table.
