“What can I say that other reviewers have not? This place is great. Don't let it's location fool you. This is not fast food Italian. It is really good food made from top end ingredients. All pasta is made in house and you can really taste the difference. We loved everything we tried and the service was outstanding. This is a great little gem and a great addition to eating options in Newbury Park. Give them a try and support a small family owned restaurant that loves to share the food from their region of Italy.“

“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!“

“Food is excellent - pricey but well worth the money. Overall service also excellent as you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant. Servers very attentive and courses are perfectly paced. We loved that it was fine dining but provided both an elegant atmosphere indoors and a more casual atmosphere out on the patio. The bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers were fantastic. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“
