Osteria081 Reviews
What can I say that other reviewers have not? This place is great. Don't let it's location fool you. This is not fast food Italian. It is really good food made from top end ingredients. All pasta is made in house and you can really taste the difference. We loved everything we tried and the service was outstanding. This is a great little gem and a great addition to eating options in Newbury Park. Give them a try and support a small family owned restaurant that loves to share the...read full review
There's obviously no comparison to a great Italian restaurant from a fast-food version (which was in this place before), but Osteria081 goes far beyond that. This is a really, really great establishment with personality, fantastic food, and a very specific identity - being focused on cuisine from Naples. And interestingly, without pizza! Good for them! Be sure to try them out and treat yourself to a lovely Neapolitan dinner!
What a very nice find on Newberry Park.
Opened for only 5 months.
The food was very good.
Service was excellent.
Small place with a great atmosphere.
The zucchini blossom was fried perfectly.
The pasta fagioli was very rich.
The lasagna was excellent and so was my beef ragu.
The Tiramisu was light and not watery at all.
The owner gave us a panna cotta on the house.
Very nice place to dine.

Osteria081 is a small family owned restaurant in Newbury Park that has a great Italian experience. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is professional, excellent and impeccable. All pasta is homemade in house and can taste the difference with zucchini blossom, pasta fagioli, lasagna, beef ragu, eggplant appetizer, spaghetti with clams and homemade pasta with pesto and pine nuts. The Tiramisu is light and not watery, and the owner even gave a panna cotta on the house. The food is made from top end ingredients imported from Italy and the flavor is real love and heart in each dish. The remodel is beautiful and the place has a great atmosphere with a very specific identity focused on cuisine from Naples, without pizza. It is a great little gem, a great addition to eating options and a very nice find for a lovely Neapolitan dinner. Give them a try and support this gem.
