I'm surprised that there are any bad reviews for this place. I eat here at least once a week and it is 10/10 every time. I typically order the classic ramen with pork. The broth is rich, flavorful and delicious. It's always fresh tasting and I crave it if I haven't had it in a while. It is walk up ordering and a casual atmosphere, They keep very busy so I have no expectations on how long it should take or how friendly the staff is. I just want their ramen!
Silverlake Ramen has easily become one of my go-to spots after a long day at work. I usually order the ramen with a side of gyoza, and it never disappoints. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are always cooked perfectly, and the gyoza comes out hot and crispy every time. We love going to Silver lake ramen but the staff always messes up our order. I ordered a classic ramen bowl and I got something completely different. We took it to go and forgot to check while we were at the collection and got home and saw they messed up our order. We tried calling from home and no one answered. I know what the classic ramen looks like and they gave us the wrong ramen. We're just disappointed that this is the 3rd order of ours that they mess up.
