Best Asian restaurant we’ve tried so far in the oaks park / agoura hills / westlake village area! Will be back often.
I came specifically for the mini hot pot and overall really enjoyed it. The Tom Yum broth was delicious – bold, tangy, and with a nice kick of heat. The portion was generous and the ingredients tasted fresh.

The Pan Kitchen is too good and I am here for it! I had the special spicy eggplant with pumpkin and it was unreal--spicy, rich, and packed with flavor without being heavy. Every bite felt thoughtful and balanced.

The Pan Kitchen (Exotic Thai Cafe) offers an authentic Taiwanese hot pot experience, featuring the renowned Niutou brand sand tea sauce. The establishment is known for its delicious and accommodating service, catering to dietary restrictions such as no shellfish or meat. The mini hot pot, oolong boba tea, and pork skewers are customer favorites, praised for their delectable flavors and nutritious qualities. Many visitors enjoy the cozy and lovely atmosphere, which is family-friendly and perfect for relaxing with friends and loved ones. The hot pot setup looks small but is filling, with options like Thai Tom Yum flavor. Desserts such as fried banana cake with coconut ice cream are popular, though sometimes the ice cream melts due to fridge issues, which the staff kindly address. Ordering is done by QR code, which can be confusing at first but is convenient once understood. The friendly staff, including the owner and servers, are attentive and quick, making the experience pleasant. With beautiful decor and excellent service, The Pan Kitchen Mini Pot & Thai is a highly recommended spot for a satisfying Thai dining experience in Thousand Oaks.
