“I’ve been to Thousand Oaks Mall several times, but never ate at their Food Court. Today I went to visit one of the owners of another restaurant in the Food Court and saw that there was a Hot Dog On A Stick nearby. It’s been many, many years, going way back to my Fox Hills Mall days in the 80’s, since I’ve eaten Hot Dog On A Stick!! I couldn’t fight the feeling and had to get a Corn Dog and a Strawberry Lemonade to wash it down. It brought back lots of fond memories 😊

“The two gentlemen behind the counter were friendly and processed my order quickly. Asked if I wanted full or partial wrap on any of the dogs, which was appreciated - because I can't get out of the parking lot without at least devouring one dog. The food is always on point and consistent. One thing that I really love about Cupid's, is their chili sauce. By itself, it would be bland. But the point is not to be eaten by itself, obviously. What makes it great is the distinct lack of salt. This incorporates amazingly with the saltines coming from the dog itself and the mustard. Whenever I'm close to one of their locations I try to make it in. The Simi Valley store is especially nice and so is the staff.
Oh, yeah. The Chicago dog is authentic and spectacular.“
