“You will not find a better Mediterranean restaurant in all of Ventura County!! Highly recommend!!Last August, my mother and I went to this incredibly friendly restaurant. They have so many options, and I was excited they have falafels. I ordered beef kofta and falafels, and tried both the saffron and spiced rice. Omgsh! One of the best meals of my life. The falafels were cooked to perfection, not too soft and not overly crispy. The beef kofta was tender and spiced well. The saffron rice was very good, however, the spiced rice is ? it is the most flavorful rice—you will ever have. I still remember both the sweet and savory notes. Which I loved.Not only is the food excellent, but the quality of the friendly environment is immediately felt. We were lucky enough to be served by the owner, Shamel. He made you feel like old friends. My mother and I so enjoyed talking with him and hearing about his passion for food and family.(Shamel, I am so very sorry for such an extraordinarily late review. I’m embarrassed it’s taken this long to share our amazing experience at your restaurant. But thank you for your hospitality! For sharing your food and about your beautiful family. “Oh my! So this is a first no “photo” review. This is for a reason. Grand hospitality with a Greek flair. Family business and this team puts the their heart and soul into making a well prepared meal. Get there early too. Halibut is amazing. Orange roughy is fresh and grilled perfectly. Sand dabs for a west coast delicacy are top shelf.“
“Although I've known Diar market for a long time. I shop here very seldomly because this market has very limited ethnic items, it mostly serves the Persian community. Imho, if they had various international goods they would be more successful. Also recently, the first time, I bought some chicken and beef, both had a terrible stench when I got home. I didn't even bother taking it back because of the lack of customer service reviews on Yelp, at least $15 worth of meat went to trash. What a disappointment! It's a shame. I understand it's a small business serving our community however customer service makes it or breaks it!“
“My wife is from Germany and her favorite food is Doner. She has been trying to find a place that serves Doner like they do in Germany and Twisted Meats is definitely the place to go. Delicious!!!! The guys that work there are also super friendly. Great “
