“This is my neighborhood Starbucks. I love the cushy seating but..the other high top table and chairs I don't like bcoz very uncomfortable. The music should improve to more new wave and not so loud. The service is very good.Kid-friendliness: There are tables and chairs that are perfect for families that are not high top.“
“Nostalgia brought us here seeking Mexican candy, snacks and sodas in our new neighborhood and we were pleasantly satiated. The station they play on their outdoor speakers churn out songs from my childhood and the staffs warm reception overrides that nothing will ever beat my own mamás cooking, but at least I can get my sweet tooth fill at this local mom and pop shop in Oak Park.“
“I recently visited Tang and Java and was blown away by the exceptional experience they offer. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, and it was evident that this is a place that values customer satisfaction above all else. Not only do they offer high-quality items, but their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients adds a level of freshness and authenticity to their menu that is truly commendable. What's even more impressive is that Tang and Java is a women-owned business, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. It's inspiring to see such dedication and passion reflected in every aspect of their operation.Whether you're looking for a delicious cup of coffee, a tasty pastry, or a satisfying meal, Tang and Java has something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing their fantastic offerings for yourself. You won't be disappointed!“
“Favorite stop for a coffee beverage. Fast and friendly service with a nice seating area inside or out and a swift to go service. There is something magical about the fizzante.Parking: Good options with quick turnaround. Makes to go coffee a breeze.“
“We had a girls day plan go to Moorpark and this was on top of of foodie list. I had been planning to go to Calioh for months. I invited my amigas to come with! I love their concept and what they stand for. I live in Oxnard but did not mind driving down for great coffee! That iced horchata latte was heavenly! The Latin pop that was playing , awesome. I love that they have touches of Mexico all over ! I am Mexican and I loved seeing their decor! The Mexican inspired drinks are awesome. I had been searching for a great horchata latte! Nayeli , JC ,Lucy had the best customer service. I just wish they were located closer so that I could visit more frequently!“
“Crissy is AMAZING!! She was so sweet and helped me decide! it's a small space but she did an amazing job making it homey and comfy! She baked all of the cookies in house everyday! you could smell how deliciosos! The smoothies are made with real fruit and it shows! she was very generous and didn't skimp out on filling up the cup!! Happy to find a new smoothie place that i live in the area!!!!“
“If you have yet to try Historia Bakery Café in Thousand Oaks, you're missing out on some truly great coffee creations. The beans are perfectly roasted, and unusual menu items like Los Cubano (double shot with brown sugar and crema) and the Blueberry Lavender Latte are a real treat. Don't forget the actual treats, though. Omfg, the pastries. All are, in a word, incredible. The lemon bars are subtly sweet/tart, not overpowering, and the croissant creations are expertly flaky. Also fantastic are the breakfast sandwiches. All of this is enough to keep us coming back, but today we spent some time chatting with Robyn, the delightful proprietress. This amazing woman works 7 DAYS A WEEK, and her commitment shows in the warm atmosphere and truly spectacular food and bevs. Run, do not walk, to check out Historia! If you're not impressed, you may want to have your taste buds tested!“
“Wonderful place on the beach!! The breakfast spot is different than the brunch & lunch. The service was excellent. All the servers are kind, gentle and polite people and everyone was serving every table, there was no difference at all .. it was an absolute true meaning of "TEAMWORK". The food was also very delicious. The carrot cake was phenomenal also the chicken sandwich, that we wanted to save it for later as well! This place is a definite "Yes" !!“
“The Lucky Dog Cafe is my go-to coffee place in Simi Valley. The staff are wonderful, friendly and proficient. The coffee is outstanding, the baked goods are tasty. There is good indoor and outdoor seating in a very pleasant atmosphere. The lucky dog is pet friendly, and even though I don't own a pet, I enjoy having the occasional dog around. I highly recommend it.“
“this is one of the best breakfast spots in the valley. I got pancakes and eggs and it was so good the pancakes were super fluffy. my dad got a breakfast burrito and it was the best I have ever had. the service is super good and the waiters are super nice. overall 10/10 would recommend for sure.“
“We went on a Sunday during the farmers market around ten AM. Our first time visiting. I ordered the cloud surfer coffee which tasted lovely and had the tuna sandwich. It tasted good but was dry. The fruit was excellent and the Tajin was a nice touch. My friend ordered the special berry toast which was slightly burnt. My sister ordered the scramble with no onions. It had to be remade because they included onion the first time. She's allergic. Most of the employees were thoughtful and kind. My sister burnt her mouth on her Chai. She told the employee with long blonde hair and glasses that the drinks are too hot and she got burned and the employees response was "yeah it's hot". Later she brought our other drinks to the table, and not only didn't greet us, but didn't even say which drink was which. She didn't say a word. Dropped the drinks and left. This is the type of employee to run your business into the ground. I wouldn't want her as my coworker either. I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was having a bad day. All the other employees were super helpful. I want to come back to try the tacos. Sitting outside is super nice. There's a QR code that you can order from and they bring your food to you. Super convenient. It is very busy at noon and parking is a mess due to the farmers market. Good for bike riders, families and yes you can bring your dog and sit outside. Thankful for this vegan cafe, despite the one person trying to ruin it for everyone else....“
“Haven’t had some great breakfast food in months due to being deployed (military). First stop back home, Jerry’s Coffee Shop. Breakfast food hit the spot! Jerry’s is my favorite place in town to get breakfast and the people there are very nice. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend you go. You won’t regret it!“

“Chagaccino was 8$ wow .. It was overpriced but at least a good one.Lots of seatings . Great view !!Keto Tiramisu was devine - p.s. I need the recipe ahhww i could eat it every day! (Pricey as well for my taste at least - but seriously I need the recipe , someone contact me!!) ?Vegetarian options: Keto , High protein options“
“Carrara’s is one of my favorite places to go to! It’s one of the most authentic Italian cafes I’ve been to out here. The coffee is so good and the pastries don’t just look pretty, but they’re actually delicious. Everyone who works here is so nice and goes above and beyond! I wish I knew everyone’s names but from going there as often as I do I can honestly say Tallin, Danica, Alir, Sarah and really just the whole staff is so sweet and they make you feel so welcomed! Alir makes some of the best lattes I’ve ever had and Tallin decorates the foam on the lattes and the desserts in a beautiful way! I love everything about this place and would highly recommend :)“
“Ok so I am pretty new to the Thousand Oaks area and have been on a hunt to find a great coffee shop. I’ve made a list and have tried a good amount of local shops but to be honest haven’t been too impressed compared to trying coffee in the deep of LA. I was craving a smooth expresso for some reason this Saturday night and decided to continue my search and figured I’d give California Coffee a try. It was a little hard to find because it’s tucked away in a cute little alley next to brewery’s and beautiful lights. I tried my classic iced vanilla latte and my barista who I didn’t get his name (had a pretty impressive beard) asked me how I liked my coffee which I have never been asked before. This coffee was elite, super smooth, and velvety. I LOVED IT. I will definitely be coming back and thank you to the kind bearded barista that made me such a great latte. Definitely come here if you are a coffee snob like me and looking for amazing expresso, a cute atmosphere, and superior service. :)“
“A bit on the pricier side but it was an enjoyable stop along the way to our next destination. My friend had a strawberry lemonade with freshly muddled strawberries, nice touch! For $8 each I was expecting a bigger portion of food but the toast that we ordered was very good! The service is fast and friendly too“
“Finally have an 85 degrees in Ventura county! We always had to drive far to visit a store. Since it's new, the store is still looking clean with a lot of selection! There's so many pastries to choose from. If you're looking for a drink I would recommend the Taro Lavender latte! So delicious! Other than that, big store and easy to get what you want.“
“We have eaten here many times, and the food is always delicious. However, this time we had a reservation and we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. After salad and appetizers it took almost and hour to receive our entrees. We all ordered pasta dishes and they were over priced and very small portions as well. My son ordered the Lobster special pasta and the pasta portion was child size! There was also a 35.00 corkage fee, which is a little high for a restaurant trying not to be pretentious. This experience reminds us of why we don't eat here that often. The food is delicious, which is probably why we will find our way back eventually!“
“Made a surprise stop here after getting gas nearby. Looked like a new shop with positive reviews and they were open on Christmas Day, so I was glad to be able to get a boba fix :)Ordered a jasmine milk tea, 75% sweet with brown sugar boba and it was good! Boba was fresh and chewy. No complaints, and the cashier was nice. They have a variety of snacks and Korean bingsoo to try. Nice small shop connected to the Chinese restaurant next door so you'll need to go there for a restroom. It's a small unassuming place but a nice local spot to give a try!“
“Popped in tonight for a last minute treat as it was my son's 6th birthday. He was wearing a birthday crown and Walter came out and treated my son like an absolute king!!! He made him feel so special and even gave him 2 cookies on the house! That never happens in this town. Thank you, Walter, for your exemplary customer service and delicious cookies!!“
“Makenna has one of the best coffee I have tasted (Iced Maui, w/almond milk, no whip). I usually order on the app for pick up and they always have my order ready. As I’ve come in, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I always try to support small business and I’m happy to continue doing so with Makenna!“
“Jennifer is amazing and so so sweet! Best coffee i have had in a while and the amazing customer service made my day even more. The coffee bar is connected to a yummy diner which makes the ambiance very homey and comforting. If youre nearby definitely check this place out! :)“
“Coffee ala Mode Is one of my go-to coffee places. The coffee is excellent - I buy the beans and take them home to use for my morning coffee as well. They have regular food but I only get se pastry type snack to have with my coffee, and these are always fresh and tasty. They also have ice cream novelties, I have never gotten one but my family has and they say that they are excellent. The staff are friendly and very helpful, when you order your coffee at the counter they bring it to you when it's ready, a nice touch instead of calling your name. It's a very inviting atmosphere inside, and a number of tables outside so there is plenty of seating. I highly recommend it as a place to have some coffee and hang out.“
“It's Boba Time is awesome! The crew is super friendly and really makes you feel welcome. And the drinks? Absolutely delicious! They've got all sorts of cool flavors to try, and they nail it every time. Definitely a go-to spot for your boba fix!“
“Hand down the best ice cream in the Conejo Valley! The owner is on top of everything and is there most every day. Today we ordered an Ice Cream Cake and it was so much better than 31 Flavors. The ingredients are all top notch and natural. Quality like this is not cheap, but what you get is a fair value for what you purchase. Please go see them for an amazing experience.“
“I highly recommend this cute little coffee shop. The service is fantastic and the staff is very interesting to chat with. I had a delicious iced coffee and left with a huge chocolate dipped strawberry. The experience took me back to traveling through Europe! I'm definitely going to stop by here again!!“
“Great breakfast! Someone suggested this place online in a group, so I decided to check it out. Went on a Sunday morning. If you go on a Sunday, prepare to wait. People were standing outside waiting! I was by myself, so opted to eat at the breakfast bar. I had my food within 10 min!! I decided on the "Joey's Tortilla chip Scramble " It's pretty much Chiliqillas without the sauce and crisper tortillas, which is why I ordered. So good!!! I asked for sauce on the side and poured it on. Yum. Will be coming back!“
“Great spot! I think they're Persian / Iranian. Would be great if they would add some Persian breakfast items to their menu and make the ambiance nicer. Also if they were open till late night it would have been a plus for everyone in Simi Valley who's looking to hangout somewhere late nights.“
“I went there and ordered a special German cake for my husbands birthday. As a German I was really critical and didn't expect them to get that cake a 100% right.BUT THEY NAILED IT!!!! My husband was so so happy brought a little home back.“
“Love this place! The owners and staff are awesome. Every flavor shake I have tried is good. My go-to is a x large turbo tea with best defense and. Pistachio shake.Whenever I need to loose 5 pounds I just replace one of my meals with that order for a week and the weight is gone!“
“Great donuts, fritters, muffins, etc, super friendly service(kids loved the extra donuts), they ARE a bit pricey with only by the each pricing(no discount for buying a half dozen/dozen). Each regular donut is $1.50 and each fancy(think apple fritter, bear claw, etc)is $3 each. However since we don't buy donuts that often(every few months), this is our favorite spot & worth the splurge for us-both in calories & financially :-)I agree with another reviewer, top 10 apple fritter of all time(although he made me want to make a trip to Toronto for the Mennonite apple fritters!)Head on over for great donuts & exceptional service.“
“My first time visiting Firehouse Cafe this morning. I got the California omelet with refried beans and biscuits and gravy. Food was good and the waitress was super friendly. Will be coming here again in the future. Would like to try lunch here.“
“My daughter was suffering from abdominal pain and vomiting. I told the gentleman the symptoms my daughter was having, he selected several herbs. That day I made some tea for her. She came out and asked me what was in it because it took the nausea and pain away. She has a hiatal hernia but has managed to keep symptoms under control with herbal tea.“
“Great beans. The house selection is surprisingly distinctive. Wonderful spaces indoors and out, including creekside tables. Plenty of seating, but they're usually busy. Long line in the AM. No outlets outdoors, but a few indoors, with a coveted inside laptop table near the entrance. Limited pastry etc selection at the coffee bar, but the space is shared with a great restaurant in the PM.Parking: Tends to be busy.“
“I really like their Vietnamese coffee. They're pricey but serve up really tasty drinks and the boba is very good. Highly recommend if you're in the area and don't mind splurging a bit. The regular size is quite large in size. They have a few tables where you can sit and work and free Wifi.“
“Clean, modern, there was no wait (so I must've been lucky), good flavors, good options, made quick, smelled great just to be in there.I'm from FL, so it sucks to know they won't have them here.. but good to try while in Malibu.“
“Blue Bottle has always been my favorite go to especially when I'm on the road. I recently moved to Ventura and I love that I can drive 45 minutes and enjoy the view of the ocean and Malibu and be able to stop off at this beautiful location for a wonderful cup of espresso, lattes or cappuccin's. They know how to brew the best coffee, and they know how to whip the perfect foam even with oat milk!I i also use the app if I'm in a hurry, but it is a nice place to hang around and people watch while enjoying a cuppa coffee, made the blue bottle away, and their wonderful waffle snack“
“One of my favorite Donut shops in Thousands Oaks CA. This bakery is quite popular with the locals. . I began coming here in December 2021. The donuts are so ? DELICIOUS ? that you will be tempted to purchase a dozen !!. The average price for a ??? can set you back ?2.00-3.00. Trust me ...they are one of the best in this city. . Second they taste fresh ..and not too sugary or oily flavored. The couple who operate the shop are very friendly and the bakery is always clean. The store is situated in a shopping plaza... so it's first come, first serve..in regards to parking. You can also park on the curb corner or the office plaza next door after 5pm. They also sell coffee, cold drink's and lottery tickets. They stay open..until 7 or 8pm. The donuts they have are from glazed, bacon flavored, rice crispy, croissants, rolls, chocolate ??? , caramel, chocolate, chips and a variety. They have seating,,that fits about 5-9 people... I uploaded some more pictures...just to wet your whistle.“
“The quintessential, ideal local donut shop. Always fresh, always delicious across a wide spectrum of offerings, and very reasonably priced (this is no bougie Sidecar-esque joint, just outstanding, classic donuts). Parking is free and easy, the proprietors are nice, they're open long hours, I honestly can't think of a single negative thing about it. It's to the point where I find myself making excuses to come grab their donuts any time I can. I've tried most of their offerings in the 3 years since I moved to the area, and you really can't go wrong with anything...but if I had to pinpoint my personal favorites, it's gotta be the glazed buttermilk bar, the chocolate chip roll, and the old-fashioned. I hope this place is here forever.“
“I dropped by here during my visit at Calamigos and it's such a cute spot! I loved how everything was vegan and it was so delicious. I would recommend my order, vanilla iced latte and croissant! I felt bad because there was only one barista and the shop was packed but she was super friendly and we were all patient with her. There was a cute sitting area around to enjoy & overall, if I'm in the area I would stop by again!“
“I've been looking for a place that sells lemon tarts ever since I had the best one ever in Hong Kong, and this one has the best in the area! It's even better than the lemon tarts they sell next door at the bakery inside Gelson's.I also had a chocolate almond croissant and that was good too, even though I'm not a fan of chocolate. This is my second visit and I'll come again. Prices are a bit higher than I prefer (lemon tart was $7.75 and small matcha green tea latte was $6.25), so I will visit judiciously.Overall, a great place to treat oneself or to meet up with a special friend.Vegetarian options: Most items are vegetarianParking: Plenty of parking outside“
“I don't understand why Starbucks employees are either trained to make coffee or not trained to make coffee. No two locations make the same coffee drinks that taste the same. This location at Los Angeles Blvd and Yosemite don't know how to make the coffee taste the same at each“
“Just moved into Simi Valley last week and this has been my go to coffee shop for the last couple days early morning. The staff here are really friendly! So that is a plus, the location is newly remodeled and it's absolutely gorgeous, and it matches the more modern Starbucks locations I've seen throughout the valley. I have a go to order, always getting an oat milk latte. The last couple times I've noticed they can probably dial back the steam because that oat milk burns so quickly! Otherwise, I'm super super pleased with this location cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much for putting in that time and effort every morning making sure my order is right!“
“This store stays actively busy in the morning but the staff still welcome you with smiles and a friendly welcome and good morning as soon as you walk in the door. My orders are always ready and I can they put effort into organizing the mobile orders to keep things simple and easy to find. Drinks always taste great! Only thing that can sometimes be slightly tricky is getting traffic to stop for a moment to pull into the parking lot but they have no control over that. Keep up the awesome work!“
“Vince and the entire JRA team were awesome to work with on my latest rig. As I prepped my last rig for sale, he helped me develop a great ROI strategy to make it great for the next owner while simultaneously not investing a ton of money in stuff that they will most likely change out anyway based on preference. In addition to that, the entire team was phenomenal and partnered with me every step of the way to spec out my next bike based on my style and availability of frames with Ibis. The culture of this bike shop is outstanding and will have my business for a long time to come!“
“I won't ever go back to Starbucks, Peets Coffee is so much better. I try to order something different every time I go into Peets and everything I have had is absolutely amazing. My favorite drink is the Horchata Cold Brew. make sure you try Peets Coffee. It is the best coffee you will ever have.“
“This is a nice cafe inside of Four Seasons. It's in a nice area. Only bad thing is parking, unless you do valet - which is not ideal if you are just ordering a coffee and a pastry and leaving. The service was quick and friendly each time I went (2x on the same day). The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The chocolate croissant was good. I would try it again when I am in the area.“
“It can get really busy but it's a very pretty atmosphere and the food is always great. Good wine selection and more importantly a wonderful cheese selection.Parking: It's vellet parking and right now it's 8 dollars.Kid-friendliness: Lots of places for kids to run around and be kids.Wheelchair accessibility: It's not totally accessible place but there are easy places for those on wheelchairs to find a place so long as it's not packed.“
“K wave. You must come here one time.Cafe's atmosphere is comfortable and it made me calm down.It is a good place to read books or do something with your laptop.I strongly recommend you to visit here.I found a good place to enjoy as like I had enjoyed in South Korea.Enjoy other food, especially Bing-su (snowlike ice powder with any toppings)I should try it next time.“
