Nostalgia brought us here seeking Mexican candy, snacks and sodas in our new neighborhood and we were pleasantly satiated. The station they play on their outdoor speakers churn out songs from my childhood and the staffs warm reception overrides that nothing will ever beat my own mamás cooking, but at least I can get my sweet tooth fill at this local mom and pop shop in Oak Park.
Very Awesome Menudo, THE POZOLE VERDE IS UNIQUE MY MOMMA LOVED IT The Salvadorian Delight with plantains is just as it's name said a Truly Delight!Vegetarian options: THE FAJITA VEGGIES AND THE IMPOSIBLE TACO SALAD ARE HANDS DOWN THE BEST.
