Ordered a carnitas burrito. Bones all over the inside of the burrito. Teeth hurt after biting into bones which were not visible at all. Carnitas had no flavor. Overpriced for the quality of food given.

Bone dry and flavorless - needed the sour cream I paid for and didn't get. Not worth the price

I love this place! Yum!!! This place is so quiet. Food is delicious. Don't let this place pass out of our neighborhood, come support this wonderful little Mexican place right here in Oak Park.

Do you have taste buds? Then this restaurant is not for you. There is ZERO flavor. I got the chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and let me share that I am a vet tech - I often feed animals canned chicken because it's bland and easy to digest - I have no doubt this chicken in the enchilada came from a can, as well as the beans. I could not finish my meal, it was so bad. This was the 2nd worst Mexican food I have ever had (1st was Mexican food in Idaho; just don't do it, okay?) and I am so sorry to write this review, but I must be honest.I live down the street from this place and often walk by it. No one is ever inside. And now I know why. Please, for the love of SoCal, change your food.

Fake reviews. No flavor. You can make better food at home. How are they still in business?

I don't like to write poor reviews about places, especially small places, but this place was terrible. I feel sorry for the guy that worked at the register because he seemed nice, but this food was so gross I feel like vomiting. Just spent $40 on bean and cheese burritos that were made with Velveeta cheese, and enchiladas that fell apart and tasted like stale water. The TV was only half working and there was a random photocopy machine near the soda machine. They need to hire a better chef and care a little. I won't be back!

Everything is great for a little hang out. The lady who took my order was nice but sadly my nopales breakfast burrito was not great and I love nopales. It’s hard to find places who serve it. But this burrito was served with white American sandwich cheese that was layered and cut up. It was an overwhelming taste since some of the cheese melted but a lot of it was still cold. I tried taking it out but at the end I just couldn’t do it. I didn’t ask for a refund or anything cause I don’t want to take away from their business but I don’t think I could do another meal there again.

Nostalgia brought us here seeking Mexican candy, snacks and sodas in our new neighborhood and we were pleasantly satiated. The station they play on their outdoor speakers churn out songs from my childhood and the staffs warm reception overrides that nothing will ever beat my own mamás cooking, but at least I can get my sweet tooth fill at this local mom and pop shop in Oak Park.

Not sure what happened to this place, used to be my go to spot for tacos in the area. Now their food is inedible, the chicken tastes like deli meat and their carne tastes like beef jerky. Somehow they've even figured out how to make their rice bland. They need to go back to their old recipes and find better meat suppliers. It tastes like very low quality meat.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito, which was far from good it only took a few bites of it to solidify that. The taste was just plain and unsatisfying. Additionally, I decided to try their pozole, but it tasted off and came with lettuce as garnish, which was odd since cabbage is the usual choice. I called the restaurant to confirm, and they assured me that lettuce is a common garnish for pozole in Mexico City, Mexico. The soup also came with a tortilla that seemed like it was 4 days old - definitely not fresh. Despite quick delivery and proper wrapping, the tortilla felt stale and had no warmth. Overall, I was unimpressed with the quality of the food and the unusual choices of garnish and stale tortilla left me with a negative impression.
