“For a on-base golf course, multil purpose eatery for base use, this place is on point. I have only bought the country fried steak and eggs but aside from them overdoing the hasbrowns a bit, which I eat all of, it's good. Quick on service, when the machines don't act up. Not their fault. great clubhouse and plenty of seating, when the seabees aren't wasting tax payer dollars drinking coffee and messing about. Lol!!! just kidding. Great respect for them.“
“Salad bar was absolute fire, everything looked fresh, hand selected for fine dining. High end for its location. Layout is not smooth transition to move in, making harder to move. The atmosphere is lively and natural with good lighting and nice decor.“

“I was itching for a quick caffeine fix and at 2 bucks for an iced coffee ... I thought McD's would be ok. I ordered a reg vanilla sugar free iced coffee and it was good. I can say I'd order it again! Drive thru was quick , the cashier was nice and it looked like a nice location. I think they recently remodeled the inside. I was too lazy to check it out but will next time !“
“Absolutely wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. Nothing was too sweet.The lovely lady at the counter happily walked me through the day’s selection. She said it changed every day. Everything looked incredible, it was hard to choose. We ended up with a raspberry and chocolate twist, a pineapple strudel, a croissant breakfast sandwich, a mocha and a cold brew.The twist and the strudel were perfectly fruity, flaky and soft. The sandwich was freshly made with ham, eggs and cheese. The pistachio croissant was heavenly. Perfectly crusty and flaky, a light pistachio pastry cream in the center, covered in crushed pistachios and sugar, without being overly sweet.Cannot wait to come back and try more.“
“This coffee shop is beyond cute and gives off a certain cozy vibe. I wish it had its own location vs in the train station as I don't feel safe going in there alone which is the only reason I'm giving them a 4 star review. Their gelato ice cream is very creamy and great! I love ordering the cafe de olla latte it's very flavorful. I also like the vanilla latte. The owner is there working all the time and overall everyone is very friendly.“

“When I went it was during a very busy time and there was only two people running the shop. But I have to say the food hair was pretty terrific. If you're looking for a reasonably priced flavor packed meal, I would stop here. I don't think you could really go wrong with any of the meals here to be honest. Chutney was flavorful, the Masala Dolsa was crispy but with some fluff and packed with onions (which was a lovely surprise) and it honestly made me regret not ordering two plates.“

We visited on 10/8 which unfortunately was their last day in business at this location.Like my fellow Yelp family commented- service was super friendly and helpful and the restaurant clean. We arrived about 1130 and there was already a line out the door.In all:5/ 5 Hot chicken sandwich- the biscuit was perfection! Crisp on the outside yet warm and delicate on the inside. The chicken breast was seasoned perfectly and delicious!5/5 Shrimp and Grits- my husband couldn't stop talking about this and claims it could be the best shrimp and grits he has ever had. Grits had a nice spicy kick- with just enough heat to impart flavor and not kill you. 5/5 Cafe de olla- I had this served hot. Excellent cinnamon flavor.Everything was fantastic and we left wishing we could come back again. La Playa- you exceeded pur expectstions. Hope to see you again and good luck.“
