Helena Avenue Bakery Reviews
The lightest, buttery moist scones.
They also had hamburgers and salads that looked were very generous portions. All was freshly made.
The silverware was REAL silverware.

I liked the place, solid 4.5 for me.
It’s in a nice spot off the road from State St, so I found it to be pretty spacious. There was a long line when I came, but the staff were patient and gracious. You bus your own tables.
While the taco was good, crispy and fatty from the bacon and cheese, it was also quite heavy due to the salt and grease. Hot sauce did a great job at cutting through that heaviness with some spice and acidity. It’s definitely a once in a while...read full review

The food was out of this world. The lavender latte was one of the best I have ever had. Everyone was highly satisfied with their breakfast choices.

Helena Avenue Bakery offers a charming atmosphere in the Funk Zone, serving delicious meals like the Matcha Latte, Potato Leek Soup, and gluten-free blueberry muffins with crumble topping. Customers praise the bakery’s fresh and healthy ingredients, making it a great breakfast or brunch spot with a relaxed Santa Barbara vibe, especially on the lovely patio with very beautiful decor and lots of birds chirping around. The bakery is known for its outstanding blueberry scones and truly delicious cinnamon rolls, which are very decadent and worth every bite. The bread is a highlight, and dishes like the mushroom toast with a side hashbrown, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the fried chicken breakfast sandwich are very good. The raspberry croissant is so delicious and the hashbrowns are worth every penny. A must-visit for anyone in the area.
