“I had a solo dinner at Corazón Comedor while passing through Santa Barbara and could not have more of a charmed experience. My server Ray was incredibly warm, kind, and helpful, and made my experience as good as could be. And the food was absolutely delicious!“
“We were driving home from LA and looking for a good restaurant for breakfast. Lots of choices came up, and Farmer Boy looked appealing, so that's where we went. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and tasty. The coffee hot and very good. And our waiter looked after us! Well stop there again while driving through.“
“So it's a pretty touristy experience. Brunch in the sun under an umbrella just off the beach? Check. Great food with little appetizer bonus? Check. (Blueberry muffin basket) People jogging by and a blonde waitress named Brooke with slight vocal fry? Check. But after driving up from LA all morning, that was what we wanted. In all seriousness, it was a great experience with unobtrusive gluten-free options. Will stop here again next time we are traveling through. Ymmv for locals, but the parking lot is almost empty and it's full, so people are walking here.Dietary restrictions: Had plenty of gluten-free options but didn't make a big deal on that.Parking: Street parking was bad but there was a little lot next time it.“
“Good coffee, excellent breakfast burritos, and prompt service make The Daily Grind on DLV a frequent stop. I usually get a latte here and they are generally good sized and well prepared. We absolutely love the sausage burrito. It is a generous serving and includes very hot and flavorful sauce. Delicious. The place is typically busy, but the service is prompt. The staff's attitude runs the gamut from genuinely friendly to a little surely. But that's OK. I'm like that too. We return here every chance we get.Parking: Park in the back. It's usually available.“
“A new year day 1, so we started off at a place we hadn't been to before. Cafe Lido is located poolside at Mar Monte Hotel on the Santa Barbara waterfront, within walking distance of the Santa Barbara Zoo, and this time of year has a wonderful sunset view until they close at 5. Even better, the friendly bar serves great Cosmopolitans. There are tables poolside as well as at the bar and indoors. We enjoyed our cocktails poolside along with a perfect grilled cheese on thick sourdough, homemade thick tomato soup, and French fries. A great start to the new year!“
“Lovely place , good coffee indeed. There aren't many more exclusive locations in the world than this one: Montecito, Santa Barbara. Back in 1995 I lived on Hot Springs Rd. in Montecito for a short time, i believe this cafe didn't exist back then...“
“Otherwise "just fine" restaurant made Four Star by beautiful views. We tried the shrimp louie and fish/shrimp & chips. The salad was fine, and the fried fish and the hot crispy chips were good. The shrimp was underwhelming and a touch fishy. Solid mai tai but not the best on the wharf. Our server Everardo was clearly a seasoned pro and took good care of us. The views of SB from the window seats make for a special dining experience. We won't rush back but we are not opposed to returning.“
“We went early on Easter morning. Before the rush. While the waitress was amazing. Our food was brought out cold. I ordered a scramble bowl & a side of biscuits & Gravy. My bowl was cold & so was the Gravy. My son also ordered biscuits & Gravy & the Gravy was cold. We sent it back. I'm not one to complain & I told the waitress to just throw it in the microwave. She kept apologizing. It wasn't her fault. She brought back our food hot. We then enjoyed a great breakfast. Left stuffed & gave her a nice tip.“
“Where to begin with Domingo's... this place is the absolute best. It's 100% my favorite spot in town and I have nothing bad to say. The staff are wonderful, kind, and helpful, the food is delicious, it's incredibly homey and comfortable, and has become my happy place. My girlfriend and I go minimum once a week and love it. I always feel like I'm back in my small hometown in the best way. Highly advise going here!“
“Best breakfast place we had on our California road trip - by far. Their campfire French toast with smoked maple sirup (only on weekends) is next level, their avocado toast with cucumber super tasty and the cinnamon roll the best I ever had! We came back three times to Santa Barbara during our road trip and part of that decision was also the amazing breakfast at Helena's Bakery. You order at the counter and then look for a seat, indoors or outdoors. There is parking in the neighborhood if you need it, but I would recommend to walk over.A must go if you are in SB!“
