“Had coffee here twice and breakfast bowls once. Both were excellent. The bowls were fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced.Coffee was excellent the first day and just ok on the second try. It’s all about the barista. On our second day, I had to have my drink redone twice and it still wasn’t right. Barista had a terrible attitude about it sadly. I chalked it up to her having a bad day (maybe because of me!). Overall highly recommend. The place has a very nice courtyard and ambiance.“

“I'm a bit perplexed by the reviewer below me who strongly disliked the breakfast burrito. I consider it to be the best breakfast burrito in town - although, too buttery. This thing can't be good for you lol. The tres leches cakes are awesome. doesn't matter which kind you choose. the breakfast tacos are solid, and creative - and the assortment of hot and iced drinks is wonderful. In the hotter parts of the year (71 degrees haha) I like to come here and get an iced coffee. I will say - as with most everything in SB - every single thing on the menu feels $1 more than it should cost. I can only imagine the rent these guys have to put out though... but $10 for a slice of cake, $14 for a breakfast burrito. I don't know.. maybe it's just the times... EDIT: you also won't go wrong with the chilaquiles - but moreso, I recommend walking down the block to their sister sit-down spot Corazon Comedor and ordering it there!!“

“One of several locations in the area. I often find Dune’s coffees more interesting than traditional coffee shops. Not only do they offer a wide variety of packaged coffee, but they also brew many of their varieties in both espresso and non-espresso drinks. If you want to mix up your coffee game a little, and are willing to try something different this is probably a good choice. Of course, they also have your traditional dark roast espresso coffee as well; ZipZinger is a great option along those lines. As with most other coffee shops in the area, there are selection of baked items available as well as some other food options.Parking: Two public parking lots nearby, both located off of Chapala Street. “I spent the day at Stearns Wharf and decided I needed a cup of joe. I was crossing under the freeway and decided to check out this shopping center located really close to the Amtrak station right after you cross the bridge. Someone had recommended it a few days prior and said it was about everything you would want out of a coffee shop. Boy is it!!The place is excellent. They had to have really hired some talented people with a real eye for detail to put this place together. The feel and atmosphere is so warm and inviting I found my self kind of just lost in the atmosphere (see attached photos.) The inside is so unique I found my self looking at all the eye candy they had. I almost wanted a tour guide to take me through the store and tell me where they found some of the stuff. The music station was perfect. The jams are great!! The place is also clean enough to eat off the floor. So if you drop something you can safely go by the 5 second rule.I am a coffee connoisseur and kind of a caffeine junky. I love light roast coffees. Most people think dark roasts are stronger and that isn’t the case. Here is a quick chemistry lesson. When they roast the beans the duration they are roasted determined how much caffeine evaporates out. Dark roast is a longer roasting time. Thus . . . Lower caffeine content. They have a Santa Barbara medium roast that I got. It was a delight and of exceptional quality. I drank 3 cups it was that good. The service was excellent. John O was my cashier. He was an absolute delight to deal with and made me feel right at home. I was a little rough from the ocean and he treated me with a ton of respect. You could say I am writing this review as much because of how John treated me as how good the coffee was. If you are coming through Santa Barbara on the Amtrak, Santa Barbara Roasting Company should be your first stop!!Thank you Santa Barbara Roasting Company for the excellent experience!! I will be back for more. Much more.“

“So I love going to a coffee roasting place and see where the coffee is made. I wasn't sure of you could get a cup of coffee or not, so we ventured over there. This place sells wholesale and retail coffee bags. Not cups of joe. However, the gentleman that greeted was awesome and explained what they were there and offered a sample. Since we were there I figured why not. I tried a cold brew nitro coffee and my step-daughter tried the tea. Both delicious. You can buy a bag of coffee to go. They also sell to local grocery stores and shops, or you can go online and buy there. Definitely worth buying a bag. Great people working there and great coffee.“

“I was excited that everything wasn't priced very high! I was able to spend $16 on the ultimate turkey sandwich, chicken sun dried tomato roll up, cinnamon roll, and a sparkling water. My favorite was the cinnamon roll. It was warmed up and exactly how you would want a classic cinnamon roll to taste like. My second favorite was the sun dried tomato roll up. I love that they warmed it up because it was super buttery and crispy. My least favorite was the turkey sandwich. I wish I didn't get it heated up because the lettuce, tomato, and mashed avocado tasted off. I was supposed to get a salad on the side, but they forgot to add it. Food is not bad for the price, and I think this place is a pretty good choice for being the only cafe outside of the hospital. One more thing to note, there is currently no seating. Only one bench, but all of the tables have no seats.“

It is a beautiful little oasis with the smell of roasting coffee wafting around you? It sounds like a great setting for working from home (or this sweet coffee shop).
