“I wanted to see how they do their banh mi since I've never heard of an ahi tuna banh mi before but they definitely give plenty of ahi tuna (though you can't really see)! It doesn't taste like a regular banh mi but I didn't expect it to. The employees were really nice too. They could tell I was in a bit of a rush (I had a short break to grab food) and kept me updated on which order they were on. The restaurant itself is super cute and I would definitely go back to try more food!“
“very small hidden shop in iv, but the inside is cute and I love their selection of sweet treats. the workers are so so so nice, idk the name of the girl that was cashiering the night I went but she was so sweet. the smores cookies are delicious, have yet to try the cold brew but I've heard good things.“
“I LOVE! This place. delicious housemate vanilla syrup and great quality matcha. Staff is so friendly and recognizes you. I go here a couple times a week and enjoy many things off their menu. However, they recently got rid of their large size cup. PLEASE PLEASE bring it back!!!!!!! Happy to pay an extra dollar, but 16 oz is not enough :( Please bring back!!!“
“More of an original classic feeling Starbucks. Some style with the cool rounded table and a siren art mural.A sense of authentic pride here. I was greeted cheerily upon arrival. Nice partners who you can tell are used to being really busy. They are snappy efficient and personable. It is small and cozy but great spots to sit, study, converse, and enjoy. Outside seating too.“
“Wonderful bakery goods like Pan Dulce and Breakfast burritos! Everything we had was delicious. The service was helpful and very intuitive like she knew what we needed in our life. The place is small and had no where to eat, so we took our food around the corner to the rear of Deckers where they have tables and chairs set up (google it) The Mexicano brefass burrito was perfectly delicious!! But the Serrano chilis are probably too hot for some, it did come with sides of crema to soothe your lips if need be. We will definitely detour back during our trips to Chumash or SB.“
“Hands down best coffee and pastry shop in Santa Barbara County. Been coming here for about 6 months and have never wait less than a half hour but it is WORTH IT. Staff is so kind and thankful for all customers who walk through the door. Each drink and donut is hand crafted and you can tell there is a lot of love and passion in this business. Such a cute interior too!!“
“This is such a cute spot for breakfast, brunch, early lunch. Service is amazing, food is great. The way they have it set up is great, you get in line outside, then inside to order at the register then they have a table waiting for you. Servers are amazing. Clean restrooms. Right across from the BEACH.“
“I'm glad I was hinted towards this absolute juwel of a cafe! The chocolate croissant paired with the Hawaii 5-0 smoothie is incredibly delicious and the best I've ever had in the US. But honestly, it's the staff that has me raving about the place: Awesome and very kind people! Strong recommendation if you're in SB!“
“Quite possibly the best locals coffee shop in Santa Barbara. Fantastic Friday Night Stand-up Comedy shows every week. Every week, great new professional comedians that perform at major Comedy Clubs.Parking: Free parking lot and plenty of safe street parking.“
“I get my matcha powder at Vices & Spices and it's not only great quality, but it's a great price! They have lots of gift options if you're looking for something unique, and their tea and spice sections are both stocked very well. I've had their coffee once too and it was delicious!“
“Best espresso EVER. Enjoyed the espresso shots working at Chocolats du CaliBressan a few years ago. Their store closed recently and have had a hard time finding this coffee to get on the go from a store here in Santa Barbara. Hopefully they'll open up their own coffee shop in town.“
“Maybe just had a bad experience here as the other dune on Storke road was great, but this time I was given a cold stale bagel and waited about 15 minutes for a tea bag to be placed in water for almost ten dollars. Atmosphere is good, and I know this place can provide great quality, so I’m chalking it up to bad luck when I visited the day after new years.“
“Wonderful first experience. Pastries looked beautiful and tasted amazing. I had a kouign-amann that was buttery, sweet, and beautifully layered. I also had a beignet that was perfectly and evenly filled with a light passionfruit cream. The reception from the staff was so kind and welcoming. They must've realized it was my first time there because they gifted me a baguette to take home too!! Great customer service and attention to detail. Will be back very soon!“
“We are from out-of-town and have really enjoyed stopping here almost every day during our stay. The cinnamon rolls are excellent, along with coffee and teas. There are some table and video games in the back, along with an outdoor patio. Service was quick and very friendly and prices were reasonable.“
“Good coffee, excellent breakfast burritos, and prompt service make The Daily Grind on DLV a frequent stop. I usually get a latte here and they are generally good sized and well prepared. We absolutely love the sausage burrito. It is a generous serving and includes very hot and flavorful sauce. Delicious. The place is typically busy, but the service is prompt. The staff's attitude runs the gamut from genuinely friendly to a little surely. But that's OK. I'm like that too. We return here every chance we get.Parking: Park in the back. It's usually available.“
“What a great dinner we had!! This place has totally changed for the better! I picked up dinner for my family of 4 and we were all very impressed. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were delicious! Kids had wet burritos with the best verde sauce I have had in town. All the food was fresh, hot and well-prepared. Great job Del Pueblo, we will be back.“
“My mom and I went there for breakfast today. We had checked the Internet and with a friend I saw the banana French toast with Kahlua and we had to try it. It was delicious good service. A little too much sauce on the bottom but the French toast was soaking it up.“
“an absolute gem in Santa Barbara! If you're a coffee or tea enthusiast, this place is a must-visit. The drinks they create are like works of art. What really sets Caje apart is their dedication to using freshly ground coffee for syrups and garnishes, giving their drinks an incredible depth of flavor. You won't find any week-old beans here! It's a whole new level of coffee and tea experience that's truly unique. The staff clearly loves what they do, and it shows in every sip. Don't miss out on this innovative and flavorful journey. Stop by and treat your taste buds to something extraordinary!“
“Great coffee, great service. We stopped by while driving through the area. I ordered the almond butter banana toast, a macchiato and an americano. A+ for all three and everyone was super nice.Parking: Shared parking lot with shopping center“
“Good lighting, lots of space, comfortable outdoor area. It’s exactly what you would expect from a chain coffee shop. Plenty of people quietly tapping away at laptops. The single stall bathrooms are clean and locked with a code. Years ago when this was a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf the Santa Barbara Go Club met here weekly. They may still do so.“
“Went in for a cake donut for a bit of dessert on a Saturday night. No wait, selection was enough and the lady working was super nice. I was personally hoping for a strawberry donut but I didn’t see one. A lot of chocolate and covered sugar donuts.“
“All they had was pizza slices - which were good! But not sure if they recently stopped with the larger variety of food.Edit - Owner reached out and said they are dealing with permitting and construction projects. They expect to have a full menu again come Summer '24. There was no information about this anywhere so hopefully this saves someone a trip.“
“Lovely place for lunch or a snack. Located 6100 Hollister, Ste B in Goleta. Delicious libations of coffee, tea, and speciality drinks. Delightful food for the eye and the palate.Lots of places to sit inside and outside. The staff, they are AWESOME! I somehow forgot my purse, they immediately grabbed it and put it behind the counter to wait for me to return.Wheelchair access parking, seating, and entrance.Lots of parking in a free lot or on the street. No high-chairs.It's clean and a wonderful place to relax. The wifi password is on your receipt.Enjoy!“
“Best poke in IV. I do have a bone to pick with the way Poke Theory is run. Dining here feels more like a stressful cafeteria... I wish it matched the chiller vibe of Isla Vista. When you walk in, you have to write your order on a tiny paper using a pencil that has a plastic spoon attached to it. I then sit down and notice that directions for EVERYTHING are printed laminated and taped on the wall (like "write order here with sanitized pencils", and "throw away trash here"). But in all fairness, I'm still rewarding four stars because, again, the poke itself is good. Just thought I could provide some constructive feedback to make it a more enjoyable dining experience for customers.“
“This review is based on a cappuccino I received on a weekday morning in January. I tend to prefer Dune over Lighthouse, because the service at Lighthouse can be inconsistent, but on this particular day it sufficed.Milk steam quality: 5/5. The temperature was perfect and the texture like silk. The pour was perfect as well.Espresso quality: 5/5. They use Handlebar espresso, which stands up to milk well, especially when the grind is set properly. On this day it was.Service quality: 5/5. Prompt and kind. No complaints.Ambiance quality: 4/5. The space is a bit tight inside, but otherwise adequate for having a cup, a convo, and getting some work done.“
“This is definitely a “local neighborhood” Starbucks, serving the Mesa. While this is not the most fancy Starbucks out there, I appreciate that the store is always clean and the service is always excellent. They always get my order correct, and I never have to wait longer than expected regardless of how busy it is. Of course, it’s Starbucks so taste and quality are consistent with other locations.Parking: Free parking lot for shopping center patrons. Can be busy but you can usually find a spot pretty easily.“
“I love an excuse to go into IV and was excited to try a new taco spot! Zocalo is delish. It's a bit pricey for IV but the food is really tasty. I wish chips and salsa were included with the meal. I paid extra for them because that's my favorite part of going out for Mexican food. I had to ask to get them before our food came out though, which was a little annoying. They do offer unlimited salsa, which I appreciate. You order at the register and then food is announced when it's ready at the counter. They do not have parking but there is a lot across the street that you can pay to park at or try to find street parking.“
