“We went to the coolest little Italian place in the valley for Valentine's on a total whim. The entire place was themed, they had a fun violinist, the wait staff wore Valentine's glasses & vests, they had pink and red lights on the palm trees out front, heart shaped straws... it was so quirky and fun. Service was awesome, like the staff was actually having a good time and glad we were there. The food was AWESOME quality... everything homemade down to the freshly baked heart shaped bread. I don't recall if we've ever really 'celebrated' Valentine's day but going to this restaurant made it feel like an actual holiday. So fun and cute. Also, the prices & portions! Highly recommend to check this place out. Guessing they probably do other holidays as well. Grateful for an unexpected awesome night 🥰🤗“

“A wine nerd’s dream! Being a longtime wine fan and a Domaine de la Cote fan, I gave Sandhi a try and was BLOWN AWAY. This project between two of Santa Ynez’s greats DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. Do not be discouraged by the fact that the tasting room is in an industrial park. Adam threw my parents and me into a sprinter van and took us on an odyssey of wine history and anecdotal stories about wine greats and legendary bottles. He is a master taster himself and wowed me with his knowledge and his thoughtful answers to my questions. Sandhi wines were exceptional, and I even got to sample some Domaine de la Cote and Bloom’s Field as a bonus!!! SCHWOWZA! I received 4 boxes at my office today for some colleagues. Two of the bottles were broken. This is a message to Melville Winery to use better packing equipment when shipping. The plastic bottle shippers used in their packing is not good enough. In the non-broken bottle boxes, you can still hear the plastic shipper and bottle flopping around in the box when it is handled.

I've received hundreds of bottles over the years for colleagues. They are always in the grey PULP wine shippers and have never broken during shipping.

This is the first time I've received plastic shippers and the results speak for themselves.

So there 3 locations, identifying as seperate stores.
You can self pick your items, on a tray and thongs. Watch others picked out what they like. Got a conch shell, caramel/maple donut and I was surprised woth the crossiant, it was huge and stuffed. I got a jalapeños and cream one, like a popper but in bread!

Heavily brush up on your spanish if you wosh to ask questions. I understand it, I just suck at speaking it haha. Sorry everyone.“

“Sanford Winery in the Lompoc Valley was the highlight of our Santa Maria wine tasting trip and easily our favorite winery we visited.

The setting alone is stunning—tucked privately between rolling hills with wide-open views and vineyards literally about 10 feet away (easy, AMAZING photo spot!). Sitting outside in comfy chairs by the fireplace while a light rain drizzled felt like something out of a movie. It was peaceful, cozy, and incredibly relaxing.

Both the reds and whites were excellent—a rare win across the board. One of the older gentlemen in our group actually makes his own wine and was genuinely impressed by Sanford’s quality, which says a lot. The wines were reasonably priced, and we happily brought two bottles home—the first and last pours from the tasting menu.

The hospitality really stood out. When some of us got cold, they offered us blankets without hesitation. We never felt rushed; they let us take our time and truly enjoy the experience. Even at the end of the day, when they had run out of charcuterie, they gave us a soft close and let us stay a bit late, which made the visit feel warm and unhurried.

This was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last. Between the privacy, the views, the quality wine, and the thoughtful service, Sanford made our vacation feel extra special. We will absolutely be back.“

“We chose Babcock Winery after reviewing the website. Our visit was everything we hoped for - a relaxing, casual and informative wine tasting experience. Jason, friendly and knowledgeable, poured the wine while offering facts about the origin of the fruit and the wine makers approach for each wine in the flight. The winery has a large indoor area and comfortable seating. We opted for one of the outdoor shady patio spaces where we could sip and enjoy snacks from home. A bonus was the company of the black winery cat. Two favorites were selected for purchase before we left Babcock Winery, the 2023 Radical Pinot Noir and the 2023 Top Cream Chardonnay.“

“We ordered the virtual tasting kit to celebrate our friend’s birthday and had such a wonderful time! As they walked us through the wines we were tasting we got to know more about Mireia and Tara and how their science background plays into winemaking. They are passionate about the wines they make and it shows. Above and beyond our virtual tasting experience the wines were delicious!! Absolutely a wonderful experience that I highly recommend! I hope we will get to visit the winery in person sometime soon!“

“4 stars because the kitchen staff frequently messes up my order, which is rough because I always have pay extra for the avocados and guacamole even when they forget. Seeing Tommy at the window is a relief. He always checks my bag. Last time I ordered online, he noticed and fixed 2 mistakes the kitchen made before he handed me the bag. It's always nice to see him there because it takes the pressure off of me having to ask and double-check everything myself (which makes me feel like an annoying customer). Tommy is a champion. Thanks for your extra help!“
