“Such a warm,family- friendly place to visit. It’s so beautiful to sit amongst the plants that are for sale and lots of shade and nice music while sipping beer and soft drinks. Often there is a food truck available so you are able to dine as well! The gift shop, workshops and craft fairs are an added bonus!“

“Dutch bros is a great coffee spot, much preferred over Starbucks and the like. Drinks are sometimes too sweet for my particular taste but ordering half sweet almost always solves that problem. Service can be very slow at times but everyone is always very friendly.“

“Was curious to try this place out, especially as it's bit of a ways off from more heavily traveled corridors like US 101. Though it is next to Route 1, so it does get its fair share of traffic.

I ordered the BBQ Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, and after a few bites, I can see why this place is rated highly. The sandwich tasted fresh, and the chicken was juicy. I also ordered some Creamy Pesto Pasta a side to complement the sandwich, and the dressing and veggies in the salad really held it together.

I haven't had a delicious sandwich in awhile, and I'm glad I decided to try out this place on a curiosity. I'll be definitely coming back in the future.“

“When traveling along the coast, I always make it a point to stop at ManRock Brewing Co. Beers are incredible (loved the “Get Him a Hoppy Bag” triple hazy IPA), food is great and comes out fast (try the bacon covered hot dog) and service is always friendly. Was surprised and happy to find they were open July 4th too! Was also able to get some cans of my favorites to bring home.“

Most wineries we find we like 2 or 3 out of 5, but all 5 of the ones we tasted were excellent. After our tasting, we enjoyed some Rose of Grenache (mwah!) along with our food outside amid the beautiful landscaping. Definitely worth the drive to get there.“

“This is the worst In-N-Out in California. Which is to say it's still a better establishment to eat at than most. Like everything in Santa Maria it is woefully under prepared to handle the misdiagnosed population of the area. I have never found a time where it was easy to grab a burger here. The drive through is backed up from before they open, until late at night. Their fries are usually too hard. Their animal style lacks the mustard grilled patties, even when I specifically ask for it. They are generous with spread and chilis. I will say the food at every other In-N-Out is better. If you are unfortunate and must live and eat in this area, it is still a better option than just about anything else. It is almost worth the wait. I just wish that the parking lot made more sense. You could probably build 3 more of these in Santa Maria and they would still be overflowing. Similarly to how the 2 Chick-fil-as have not cut down on how busy the original is.“

Shout out to Joey and Bethany who, like Denise, welcomed us like we were old friends. Warm, hospitable, gracious, friendly staff all around, and the wines are a delight. Kudos to the winemaker who obviously knows how to make terrific wines. Go and bring your friends! Just wonderful.“

We also had the chicken Mole, which was very good, I was wishing for a little sour cream, but that isn't the style there. Chips and salsa were complimentary, and excellent. “My daughter wanted some boba after a hike, having to park in downtown Pismo and walk to a spot was not in my timeline. This place has great parking and accesibility and closes after the other guys. I loved how refreshing the Strawberry Lychee blended with strawberry popping pearls was and the service was laid back and friendly. The guy taking my order was willing to accomodate my request of half sweet which was so nice. We will be returning!“

“Gone by this shop several times & there was always a "sold out" sign in the door. This day altho' the sign was up, the door was open & we went in. Al Rodriguez, the owner was as nice & welcoming as could be. He explained that he is a one operator shop & usually runs out of orders early but after hearing that of my many attempts to try his tamales, he made one just for us to sample.“

“I spend about $100 a week at Vons in Grover Beach. It is just about the only grocery store I go to. It is nice to see they are hiring more people. Pictures I often see have different area supervisors which is good. One concern I have is the people that are the main ‘doers’ don’t seem to have a concern about the jobs they do. In would hope Vons have a way to reward or correct workers in the way they carry out their job. ‘Banging’ on mop heads is never helpful unless they see a monetary benefit in personal upkeep. Most bakers don’t see a reason to spread peppers out on a bagel but I bet if they took a bite out of their product and got all the jalapeños in one bite they might see the logic of spreading them. I have quit telling them about it because they just shrug their shoulders. I would modify their pay by 50cents an hour up or down until performance matches expectations. I hope they have a way to gauge performance.“
