“This is a place I always ome to when I'm in town. The first time I went there, I was alone and a nice man named Dave who was sitting in a booth with someone socializing started talking to me. The next couple of times I went, he was there. He doesnt remember my name but he remembers my face. Ive met lots of locals through Dave. Its also a place my Uncle frequently eats. They dont serve alcohol but it reminds me of a diner version of Cheers. The food is good and the coffee is great. You may even find someone to talk to. The outdoor seating is very comfortable.“

“You know when you cant stop talking about how great the food is the place has to be good. And sure enough while staying in Santa Maria for a week I searched up best Thai Restaurants in the area. This restaurant was in the top ten so my mom and I decided to try it. When we arrived the door had a sign that said cash/venmo only accepted. So make sure you have either or as forms of payment. It will be worth it trust me. We were greeted by Jay Nipomo and seated promptly. Impeccable customer service. Met all are needs. Water was filtered, not tap. Always had extra napkins. Ordered the Pad See u with beef, yum salad Ribeye, tom yum soup with chicken, lettuce wrap name sod & crispy rice, chamomile citron tea. Everything is an must try. Served fresh all veggies and meats. I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants and hands down this one is the best that I have tried. You can tell the cook puts their heart and soul in every dish. Delicious! Will definitely return when I visit again. At the completion of our dinner Mr. Jay packed our left overs. He took his time to find out where we were coming from made us feel at home. “This place was above and beyond. The barbocoa quesadilla was delicious. They had a salsa bar with chips and free refills for your choice of fountain drink or agua fresca. The bathroom was super clean. I was highly impressed. Their hand towels in the bathroom were even soft. We came up to Arroyo Grande for the day and my hubby found this hidden gem for Greek/Mediterranean food.
Arroyo Grande is just adorable in-general and worth the trip to wander this tiny creekside town that is kind of caught back in time. Jaffa sits just off the street, and about 150 meters from the picturesque creek and walking bridge. They have a menu of combo plates, gyros, delicious Dolmas, and other Mediterranean delights. The workers are friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh, simple and noshable. Seating is available
Inside and outside. Outside the tables are right under a gorgeous old pine tree with plenty of diffused light and shade. The gyros come with seasoned meat, lettuce and tomato. However, there is a lovely sauce bar right by the register and their tzatziki sauce is the best! Prices are mid-range. Parking is available across the street and behind the restaurant. It’s clean and no frills with food that won’t put you into a food coma, but will put a smile on your face.“

“This small cafe (one table) is located in an industrial mall across the street from the car charge by the Von's, so convenient for us. They offer drinks, smoothies, treats, and a limited food menu. I got a smoothie, which was thick and flavorful; my husband also had the burger, which seems to use a premade patty but was otherwise presented in a deluxe manner. A lot of care goes into the food here, reflected in the prices.“

The waiter came to the table numerous times inquiring if we are enjoying our meal and if we needed any additional items. A definite place to return to. The location is within downtown Arroyo Grande with other businesses within walking distance. There is public parking in the rear of Gina's. Enjoy the bridges and the wandering roosters in the parking area.“

These guys all need raises.“

“Their pho tastes really nice, it has nice light tasting broth with the perfect noodles to match. I really can’t rate the service though because I’ve only eaten inside once (they have a good pickup service that’s great for introverts, or just someone who’s in a rush). I believe they do have a bar there but it’s not like a full on pub, so I’d say it’s still pretty child friendly. They’ve got plenty of other good stuff too. :)“
