“We were making our regular drive between LA and the Bay, taking 101 because the vegan options on 5 are truly dire. Y'not gets points for its proximity to the freeway. They don't allow dogs inside, so we took our pups and sat on a sunny patch of grass behind the building. I ordered the quinoa bowl, my husband the mexi. What we got: a lot of quinoa (me), a lot of rice (him). I had to dig through a mound of grain to search for spinach leaves radishes, and almonds. Ditto for him. My husband also got a berry smoothie that was too sweet for me. Everything was fresh and tasted great. But for the prices, I would hope for a little more of the good stuff.“

“During our first day at Pismo we decided to eat at Del’s and it was great, for appetizer we had the fried raviolis 10/10. We tried the meatball calzone which is huge it can definitely be shared, my wife couldn’t decide which pizza to order so the server recommended to do half & half so that was pretty cool, at the end she went with the little Hawaii and the shell beach road both were a 10/10. “Absolutely fantastic. I hadn’t had pizza in a few months because of some food allergy testing, so I did some research before deciding where my first pizza back was going to be. My Friend Mike’s did not disappoint.

The sourdough crust was SO good, perfectly cooked, crispy and chewy, with that slightly funky, tangy flavor that good sourdough has. The tomato sauce was savory, there was just the right amount of cheese, and the toppings were really well balanced. I got the guanciale with mushrooms and onions and it was delicious. Really high quality ingredients.

“Our experience with the restaurant and Van our waiter was excellent. The reason I did not give it a 5 star was because when we arrived the hostess/waitress was not concerned that we had a 5:00 reservation to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, never acknowledged it, even though on open table site asked if was a special occasion. She sat us down and handed us a wine list which had red sauce on it, she clearly saw it and did not acknowledge it. It would have been nice it someone would have acknowledged our celebration. That's all. We went there because our son gave us a gift card and restaurant was recommended by a friend. We were visiting not locals. Thank you .“

I always go for an almond croissant, they are SO GOOD that they usually sell out! My second favorite is the raspberry oat bar 😍 But basically everything from their pastry box is incredible!

The beef empanada large. The passion fruit drink, Maracuya, refreshing. All house made authentic Peruvian food. I hope you will visit Coya and enjoy the food as much as we did. The ambience beautifully decorated with traditional Peruvian products, clothing, hats, purses, dolls, cookies, coffee and lamas. Large dinning room and outdoor seating nice.
