Great restaurant. Will visit again.
So far we've only tried their puerca verde (pork with green sauce) and fajitas de pollo (chicken) burritos, but they were both excellent, so I think that represents their overall quality well.
The service is quick and friendly.
The restaurant itself is smallish and probably best for takeout, but there's good seating if you want to eat in.
Note that their prices went up a bit around July 2026 and might not match the prices you see...read full review

Tacos De Acapulco offers some of the best Mexican food in SLO county. The menu has everything needed to know what to order. The food comes out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Burritos are built based on what is wanted inside, like the shredded beef burrito which is full of flavor, extremely filling, with perfect salsa. Asada nachos are very delicious. The place is not fancy with decorations, just tables and chairs. Parking isn't great and location isn't either, but the food is wonderful. The owners are super friendly and make customers feel right at home. Burritos are a bit expensive but great. Nachos, tortas and taco salad are favorites. The cashier is fast and efficient. This place is close to perfect and a hidden gem worth the drive from Paso.
