“Me and my family decided to go to this spot on a whim and we were surprised with how laidback and nice this place was. Parking is very limited so be prepared to walk a small distance, but that shouldn’t deter you from coming! The prices are good for what you get. I got the Chipotle Seafood Penne Pasta, and it was one the best seafood plates I have had at Pismo! Everything was fresh and was ready very quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever there was a chance. It was calm but busy throughout our entire time, but never once did it feel overcrowded or too loud to have a conversation. Highly recommend for any seafood lover or local!”

“We were in the San Luis Obispo area the past few days and came to eat at Lumpia Bros Cafe in Grover Beach. The owner Eric and the manager Genevieve were very nice. I didn’t get to meet the other brother as he was manning all the delicious food in the kitchen. We ordered the combo plates. One was pork adobo with rice and pancit and two beef lumpia. The other was a silog with longanisa, easy over egg on top of rice, and a beef lumpia. Both were delicious or masarap! The brothers grew up in the Bay Area as did my family. Eric and I exchanged notes on the Filipino foods we grew up with and how are moms made different lumpia’s. I wish him luck on his new cafe and hope to visit it next time we are in the Grover Beach area.”

“We had a fantastic dinner at Go Go Thai after spending the day at the beach and enjoying the nearby rides. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. As vegetarians, we were especially impressed by the wide variety of vegetarian options available. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing.

The service was quick, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Free street parking made it even more convenient, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions.

Our kids loved the food, which made the experience even better. We highly recommend Go Go Thai to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Thai food with excellent vegetarian choices. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!”

“This is an amazing hole in the wall that has obvious regulars. The sushi is extremely good and high quality, the sushi bar staff are super stars. “If you are looking for truly authentic, mouth-watering Mexican food, Taqueria San Miguel is an absolute must-visit outdoor stand! My husband and I walked by for the first time on Taco Tuesday, and we were completely blown away! They offer incredible $1.59 street tacos (with a wide variety of perfectly seasoned meats) when you purchase a drink. Every single bite was packed with outstanding, vibrant flavor, and the portions are exceptionally generous. Five stars all around for the phenomenal food, top-tier service, and wonderful outdoor atmosphere. We will definitely be regular customers!”

“We ordered a pizza to be delivered. It came a little early but we had been given a heads up that it was coming. They delivered almost to the minute of what they had told us. The pizza was hot and delicious! We can't comment on the atmosphere as we have never been there, yet.”

“I spend about $100 a week at Vons in Grover Beach. It is just about the only grocery store I go to. It is nice to see they are hiring more people. Pictures I often see have different area supervisors which is good. One concern I have is the people that are the main ‘doers’ don’t seem to have a concern about the jobs they do. In would hope Vons have a way to reward or correct workers in the way they carry out their job. ‘Banging’ on mop heads is never helpful unless they see a monetary benefit in personal upkeep. Most bakers don’t see a reason to spread peppers out on a bagel but I bet if they took a bite out of their product and got all the jalapeños in one bite they might see the logic of spreading them. I have quit telling them about it because they just shrug their shoulders. I would modify their pay by 50cents an hour up or down until performance matches expectations. I hope they have a way to gauge performance.”

“Definitely worth the visit! Creamy, delicious ice cream made right there in the shop! Here's how to do it:
You only get two samples per customer, so my boyfriend and I shared samples so we could try four flavors in all. We shared a two-scoop cup with caramel and coconut. I loved the chunks of coconut in yhe ice cream!
They also make ice cream shakes, Bob's, smoothies, and sell different flavored Popsicles.
Friendly staff, clean, and a great place to bring a date, hang wiyh friends or bring the family!”

There are these ground chicken in a foil wrap which are so delicious and Moo Shu Pork easily a daily go to, or at least every time you visit. Every thing we ordered was perfect. “HORRIBLE SERVICE. Placed an order over the phone and they got upset with me because I don't speak spanish. I've been a loyal customer for YEARS but no longer. They messed up on the order and I had to pay for them to fix it. They argued with me even though I repeated the order multiple times over the phone. Shame you've lost a loyal customer especially since I really do enjoy your food. Oh freakin well. The lady at the counter was super rude and judgemental as well.”

“Trying places in Grover and stopped in here for some nachos. The chips were pretty stale and chewy. The guacamole didn’t look like it had any avocado in it. I’m betting their other dishes were probably a lot better. I’ll go back and try their breakfast or tacos, but the nachos didn’t quite cut it.”
