This family business is run by a pleasant couple. The husband is the chef learned to cook in Zacatecas, Mexico. He charges for a second basket because the chips are the best hand-made chips I have ever had! the salsa is a delicious hand made mixture of hand chopped onions, garlic, tomato and cilantro. I think that Jalepeno's has some of the best Mexican Food in the 5 Cities area. Their Enchiladas Suizas are sooo good and so is their Veggie Butrito. Great chips and salsa when you're seared too!

i moved to grover beach 11 years ago and soon discovered jalapenos restuarant. it is my favorite. the food is great, the service is great and i always leave feeling great. it is a small family business whos quality product is an asset to the community. i highly recommend jalapenos to anyone who asks where to get a consistantly delicious meal.
