My first time here yesterday and WOW! The server was so friendly and kind, and my meal was DELISH!! I simply tried their "Bean Curd with Mixed Vegetables & Rice," and it was fantastic! So flavorful with subtle garlic sauce, mushrooms, brocolli, a lot of other good veggies. Large enough portion to get to take home half for dinner! Pleasant, quiet dining room with comfortable booths. Really happy to have discovered this place!
There are some items that are hit and miss, but for the most part there are a good dozen-plus reliable options on their menu for a Chinese fix away from the big city. Their spring rolls, hot and sour soup, noodle soup, and pan friend noodles consistently deliver. Nothing is ever too oily, and the service is always fantastic and friendly. We've been getting takeout from GG for at least 7+ years and it's consistently good. The broccoli in their beef and broccoli is fresh and cooked to how we like it. The Singapore chow mei fun is what we order all the time. It has chicken, shrimp and pork with thin yellow curry noodles; yum. Anyway, it's our favorite Chinese around these parts.
