We've been getting takeout from GG for at least 7+ years and it's consistently good. The broccoli in their beef and broccoli is fresh and cooked to how we like it. The Singapore chow mei fun is what we order all the time. It has chicken, shrimp and pork with thin yellow curry noodles; yum. Anyway, it's our favorite Chinese around these parts.

Exactly what I expected of a local Chinese restaurant. Delicious food. Great service.

My first time here yesterday and WOW! The server was so friendly and kind, and my meal was DELISH!! I simply tried their "Bean Curd with Mixed Vegetables & Rice," and it was fantastic! So flavorful with subtle garlic sauce, mushrooms, brocolli, a lot of other good veggies. Large enough portion to get to take home half for dinner! Pleasant, quiet dining room with comfortable booths. Really happy to have discovered this place!

There are some items that are hit and miss, but for the most part there are a good dozen-plus reliable options on their menu for a Chinese fix away from the big city. Their spring rolls, hot and sour soup, noodle soup, and pan friend noodles consistently deliver. Nothing is ever too oily, and the service is always fantastic and friendly. It's walkable in my neighborhood, which is a plus. If surrounded by the kind of places you go in LA and the Bay the score might be a half star lower, but between Northern Santa Barbara and SLO Counties you have Golden Gong, North China in Santa Maria, and on a good day Rice Bowl in Lompoc who are the top of the class above in an otherwise uninspiring landscape of Chinese food. The other places have things they do well, but the misses are a lot bigger.

Ok but not great like Hanford Chinese food. I think the vegetables came from a can. Ordered #1 dinner. Shrimp egg foo yung. Won ton soup was bland. Shrimp in EFY was perfect. Atmosphere comfortable. Service professional and fast. Good but just wasn't flavorful enough.

Best tasting menu I’ve ever seen. We had Mongolian beef, fried rice, dragon and phoenix and the pork with Peking sauce.

There were bright spots, like the kind hostess/server and her excellent and attentive service. But the food...the fried rice was dry and bland. The hot and sour soup overly salty. The meat in the chow mein seemed old or at least not freshly made. And the filling in the potstickers was fatty pork rather than finely chopped lean pork.

Food is not good. Protein is sparse in their dishes and bland. I would not go back to eat here.
