LOVED Pono. From the moment we walked in with the beautiful decor, we felt transported to the islands. Kendra was our server and was so knowledgeable and fun! The Lobster Ceviche with the taro chips was delectable. We had the arugula salad with beets and goat cheese , which was delicious with its citrusy dressing . My wife and I went to Pono Pacific Kitchen Saturday night for dinner and the food was amazing again. The Manila Clams was unbelievably fantastic. There were five layers of flavor. Shocking a chef can continually come up with a mixture of flavors that work together. The Channel Islands White Sea Bass was incredibly great again. Best food on the Central Coast.

Crab soup was wonderful. Scallops were fine/nothing special. The purple sweet potatoes were pureed and tasted like snotty, runny baby food.The swordfish served with bordelaise sauce didn't work. The crabcake lillikoi pepper jelly was way too overwhelming.Sadly disappointed.
