Rob and Chuck both stopped by our table a number of times with wines and to answer our questions. We chose to add the charcuterie board to our tasting and it was so delicious. Hubs and I are making our way through California on the road trip we never got to take as Bay Area teens (now living in Oregon)We grabbed 2 specialty lattes and a ham and Swiss croissant and all were delightful.

This place also doubles as a little boutique! They have incense, crystals, cards (I keep a stockpile of greeting cards because you never know!), and other cute items.

If I lived anywhere near here, I would be a regular on the daily. ?”

“Excellent! My daughter and I ate there. It was her first time….my second. Delicious and fresh. Everything tasty. Not a fan of the Saffron spice in the rice but still delicious. I like to eat outside in their little courtyard. We ate and listened to the music playing across the street. A must try if you are craving Mediterranean cuisine. ??

Parking: Street parking if the Village is not too busy as well as a large public parking lot behind the buildings (has a walk through sidewalk from parking to courtyard/entrance to Jaffa).”

“It's our favorite bakery! Everything I have eaten is on a scale of great to amazing! I just had their Thanksgiving pies. The pumpkin pie was full of spice and so tasty. The Nantucket pie was a perfect blend of tart cranberries and sugary sweetness. The pumpkin cheesecake was delicious.

We love their cupcakes. They are baked ahead and refrigerated to maintain freshness. Perfectly cute frosting. They come in so many flavors and are full of real good quality ingredients. My guests were raving about them.

Morning buns, everything buns and croissants are baked fresh each morning. They are our favorites when we stop by for a treat. We got hot morning buns once and they were extra special.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free goodies that they make after cleaning the kitchen super well.

Kid-friendliness: Mini cupcakes are perfectly sized for little kids. Big kids would like to try a couple different flavors. Fairy buns are perfect for sharing as they pull apart.”

In my efforts to find a cake designed to celebrate my daughter's graduation from Cal Poly, Casey stepped up to the challenge and perfectly created a Cal Poly themed cake for us! “My wife and I were staying a couple of nights in town and wanted some comfort food. The fries and burgers really hit the spot! Fresh and sublime! My personal favourite is the Philly Fries.

Service is also immaculate. Victor gave us the best welcome ever and his solid vibes overwrote our indecision on where to eat in town. Gave us great recommendations and even tips for the in-house arcade. Speaking of, the arcade is super affordable and boasts a great selection. The movie posters also slapped.

“Located in the walkable Arroyo Grande village, this is really two excellent wineries in one place. Really great, friendly experience, with excellent wines. The new location is lovely, with indoor, patio, and outdoor seating, with tasteful decorations. We loved the Spanish-inspired wines of Verdad, but are also fans of the Lindquist brand. You can taste from a wide variety, including Albariño, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Grenache, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, Rose, Viognier, Mourvedre, Marsanne, GSM, Graciano, and Carignan, and the tasting menu changes every week or two. It lools like they allow food from the restaurant next door in the outdoor area, so I can see returning for a snack and enjoying a bottle at the same time.”

“How can I not say how great this place is? I’ve grownup around the area and the waiters and staff have always made me feel like I was home.

I would definitely recommend the cinnamon roll. It comes with this pink cream cheese frosting that is absolutely to die for!

If you want something more tangible go for their burrito or anything with eggs. They always cook it to perfection!

You have to dine-in for your first time there. It’s also surrounded by some other great businesses so don’t forget to check those too!

“The Lunch Special, a decent sized deep dish cut into 4 squares plus a 20oz bottle soda for $6.99 was a quick, tasty, cheesy, hot, crusty and soft pizza that was more than enuf for lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and well stocked.”

“A true American classic bar. What most would call a dive bar… but it’s more than that. This is a full liquor, no food (but they have a taco stand out back with odd hours), single pool table (with a magic pocket), karaoke rocking, dollars tacked to the ceiling, tchotchkes dripping off the walls, St Patrick’s Day blow-out having, small bathroom, big back yard BAR. Any given weekend night, you will find stiff drinks, cowboys, bikers, regular folks and a few bachelorette or wedding parties all jamming out together like they are at a high school reunion they didn’t expect to enjoy as much as they did. If your local, you know… if your from out of town, yes.. this is the bar you want to end up at. See you there.”

The waiter came to the table numerous times inquiring if we are enjoying our meal and if we needed any additional items. A definite place to return to. The location is within downtown Arroyo Grande with other businesses within walking distance. There is public parking in the rear of Gina's. Enjoy the bridges and the wandering roosters in the parking area.”

“When we go to the coast we usually get frozen yogurt at Pismos Frozen Yogurt. We wanted to try something different so I went to Google and ended up finding Menchis. They have a large selection of delicious flavors and toppings. We enjoyed it so much we visited each of the 3 days we were at the coast. Atmosphere was great, staff was friendly and place was very clean. We will be visiting again soon. Highly recommend.”

“"LIFE'S TOO SHORT . . . HAVE A BLAST!" Well, I certainly did. I discovered this establishment while on a trip to the San Luis Obispo area (combination of business and pleasure). My lawyer, Barry, and I decided to give it a try for lunch. Great selection of microbrews; always a plus. I had a couple pints of one their own IPAs. Barry just had iced tea. He doesn't drink; says it hinders his judgment on the job. In addition to representing me, he also aids in the evictions of apartment tenants who are several months late with their rent. (I've noticed a lot of them seem to be single mothers with at least three kids, but I digress.) We split the Chili Cheese Waffle Fries for a starter. Loaded with chili with the right balance of spice and heartiness to it. On top of that, it didn't give me any digestive issues! Excellent burgers here. I had the Jalapeno. Half-pounder and Angus, the way it should be. Barry had a Margherita Pizza, which I thought strange coming after chili cheese fries. He said it was a lot better than the one he had at Northern Italiano a few weeks back when meeting with another client of his named Lance. Our server, Amanda, was exceptional. Just the right amount of EYE CONTACT. Regularly CHECKED UP on us, but not to the point of intrusiveness. I emphasize those points because a lot of servers today don't understand that eye contact and checking up on the customer are indispensable components to providing quality service. “Impromptu lunch with a friend. She recommended this place. Even though I only live a few blocks away I hadn't tried yet. Ordered fish tacos. Which were made with salmon. And we're quite possibly the best fish tacos I've ever had. Very generous portion for the price. The pico de gallo was obviously fresh made. The salmon was absolutely perfectly prepared. It took a while to get to us so I am pretty sure that salmon wasnt started until we ordered. So many times the fish in a fish taco is really dry. But the salmon was moist and the seasoning was delicious. The pico de gallo was obviously fresh in housemade. Young man who served us was very knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is not fancy and a little bit loud. I will absolutely be going back to try some other things on the menu.”
