“The food is amazing!! Antionette, Raul and the staff are amazing. Great service!!! Antionette and the staff were so great doing what they do!!!! We loved the fact when we learned they are now dog friendly. Truly was the reason we came because we could bring our Berne-doodle. Sadly when we asked for a piece of grilled chicken for her, they accepted the order and then came back with it had to be at the same price as the chicken breast on the menu. We sucked it up, and it came with all the seasoning whereby she could not eat it. Almost $40 for something she could not eat. We travel all of California. EVERY dog friendly restaurant has a plain burger or chicken breast they can make for your dog in the $5-$8 dollar range. So they may say they are dog friendly, it appears they are merely dog tolerant which in California seems out of touch. Sad to waste such great food and service at those prices when you can't make reasonable exceptions for your dog.”

“Excellent stop for the most freshest seafood! Hubby's fish and chips were off the charts. My "Melted Shrimp Tacos" were great. The shrimp was the bomb, but next time, I would ask for no cheese on the taco. Shrimp and cheese is a no-go in my world.”

“I just love this place. I love the fresh and very tasty food. I come all the time and love the warm welcome when I come in. Because I eat there so I’ve met the regular great staff Jose, Rosie, Annette, Manuel and Miguel. They all seem to take pride in customer service, keeping the place clean and inviting. Thank you all!Dietary restrictions: They have no issues with me asking for substitutions for some items I can’t eat.”

“WOW this place is so good!! We ordered to go quesabarrilla tacos (edit, barillia tacos on DoorDash aren’t the same as the quesa barillia we ordered in the restaurant so be aware of that) and I can’t even express how delicious they were. We’ve had them many places and they were hands down the best we’ve ever had. There was even rice at the bottom of the consume that we scooped up with chips and ate it that way. The restaurant has a really nice patio that we probably would have enjoyed if it wasn’t raining and it was very clean. They have a salsa bar with a lot of options as well. Best Mexican restaurant in town by far! We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.”

“Palo Mesa is my favorite pizza restaurant in San Luis Obispo County. You just can't go wrong with any of the options. The dining room is small, and there aren't any large tables.”
