“Talley Vineyards has that amazing combo of great wine, beautiful scenery, and an atmosphere that actually makes you slow down. We genuinely enjoyed every wine we tasted, the cheese and hummus plates were perfect for sharing, and we ended up staying longer than we planned because we just didn't want to leave.
It never felt crowded or rushed, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the entire property has this peaceful, tucked-away feeling that's hard to find.
Dog friendly and I think next time I'll bring a blanket so I can sit in the grass right next to him.
If you're debating where to spend an afternoon on the Central Coast, I'd happily recommend making the drive to Talley. I'd go back in a heartbeat.“

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the employees have a very bad staring problem. I was just picking up my burrito and while I was waiting I got stared down by the cooks and the cashier multiple times.

After I came to the cashier to pay for my order, it felt like the cooks were talking bad about me in Spanish.

But overall food here is great, the employees however meh“

Totally worth going to for an extraordinary flight of wine tasting or a glass of wine from their by-the-glass menu while enjoying the cozy outdoor patio. The tasting manager Denise is super friendly, knowledgeable about the wines and food pairings, and an absolute delight to talk with. Shout out to Joey and Bethany who, like Denise, welcomed us like we were old friends. Warm, hospitable, gracious, friendly staff all around, and the wines are a delight. “I recently ordered a gift basket from Peacock Winery for a friend’s wedding, and I have to say, it was absolutely stunning! The basket was beautifully put together and really captured her style—it was the perfect gift for her big day! Peacock has such a cool “locals only” vibe. It’s one of those hidden gems you’d only find if you take the back roads, and it’s definitely worth the trip. The venue is gorgeous, and their wine is top-notch. The staff was super friendly and really made the whole experience enjoyable. If you’re looking for something special, whether it’s a gift or just a great place to relax with some amazing wine, I can’t recommend Peacock Winery enough. You’ll love it 😍“

“"LIFE'S TOO SHORT . . . HAVE A BLAST!" Well, I certainly did. I discovered this establishment while on a trip to the San Luis Obispo area (combination of business and pleasure). My lawyer, Barry, and I decided to give it a try for lunch. Great selection of microbrews; always a plus. I had a couple pints of one their own IPAs. Barry just had iced tea. He doesn't drink; says it hinders his judgment on the job. In addition to representing me, he also aids in the evictions of apartment tenants who are several months late with their rent. (I've noticed a lot of them seem to be single mothers with at least three kids, but I digress.) We split the Chili Cheese Waffle Fries for a starter. Loaded with chili with the right balance of spice and heartiness to it. On top of that, it didn't give me any digestive issues! Excellent burgers here. I had the Jalapeno. Half-pounder and Angus, the way it should be. Barry had a Margherita Pizza, which I thought strange coming after chili cheese fries. He said it was a lot better than the one he had at Northern Italiano a few weeks back when meeting with another client of his named Lance. Our server, Amanda, was exceptional. Just the right amount of EYE CONTACT. Regularly CHECKED UP on us, but not to the point of intrusiveness. I emphasize those points because a lot of servers today don't understand that eye contact and checking up on the customer are indispensable components to providing quality service. “Good price for decent pizza but we got delivery and they forgot 2 of 4 pizzas. They refunded what they missed but we still had to pay all the delivery fees again to get the order to us.
