“This was the most authentic Soul Food I've ever tasted. Better than the big name famous places we've been to. It's a modest business that I found due to my cravings for some greens and cornbread. “Fantastic, clean, hole in the wall Mexican place. Had a chicken burrito, which was just fabulous. Fantastic flavor. We also had the chicken Mole, which was very good, I was wishing for a little sour cream, but that isn't the style there. Chips and salsa were complimentary, and excellent. Didn't get a rumbling tummy after, which is always welcome. Will be back.“

“Great place to stop by with very kind owners. We went here yesterday and ate their home made tortilla’s, burrito with chile verde and fish taco’s. All were very, very good. Definitely enjoyed the place as we spoke to the very nice owner for a while, hearing about this mother who originally started the takeout restaurant.“

“Stumbled upon this deli from a Google search. The spicy snowy plover sandwich was absolutely fantastic! My friend and I shared, but I wish now I had a whole one! The pasta salad was just right and so fresh and delicious. The brownie ganache was GOOD! Service was great, everyone so nice. We ate on the patio which was nice.

“My husband had beef enchiladas and fried beef taco, he loved it he said it was very tasty and his a chip and salsa lover, loved the salsa, you can ask for more at no charge.. I ordered the aguachile shrimp, in any restaurant you usually get 12 shrimp this place was more like 3 dz. I could not finish them very tasty, I would recommend this place, their margaritas are blended and taste great. If you go to Santa Maria stop here for a bite.“

Dipping their delicious crunchy French bread in the sauce is divine! The food was good, and our pizza and breadsticks came out in a timely manner. The lemonade was out when we ordered, but once I let the staff know, it was promptly replaced, so I appreciated that.
Unfortunately, the experience took a turn for the worse when our server cleared our table while we were still there playing games. We still had a couple slices of pizza and some wings left, along with our drinks, and all of it was thrown away. When I went back to the table and told him we weren’t finished, he simply apologized. I understand that mistakes happen, but I feel like the situation could have been handled better.

At the very least, I would have appreciated an offer to replace the food that was thrown away—a small pizza, some wings, and new drinks. Unfortunately, that incident really affected our overall experience and left us disappointed. The food itself was good, but the way this situation was handled is what ultimately made the visit a negative experience for me.“

“I've eaten many things on the menu here. Every single thing has been top tier and reasonable for the price. The pad Thai is probably the best I've had anywhere, and the spicy noodle bowl was delicious and fed me for 2.5 meals. You can find me in here every week or so.“
