“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“The food & beer was excellent with a very relaxed atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and company. Shout out to Uncle Kyle! He kindly picked up our tab, he didn't know it but we're here celebrating my mom's life in her favorite town at her favorite beach. Truly made our night. Would highly reccomend to anyone who has a craving for some pretzels, beer on tap, or a delicious hot dog.“

“We’ve been going to Hofbrau for over 20 years. Just had one of the best meals ever there today. Sat outside on the new glass enclosed deck over the water. Amazing view. Beautiful day. Had the best, tender and flavorful roast beef sandwich- a jailhouse (roast beef, pastrami & provolone - a Reuben and calamari strips. It was all perfect!“

“I had lunch at this restaurant while doing a road trip through the PCH. I was really satisfied with the flavor of the food. Perhaps, one of the best Thai food I have ever had. Would love to go back if I ever do that road trip again.“

“It’s really great place!, a perfect balance of atmosphere. I had the pork sliders and they were really freakin good, with a Modelo!, it was perfect. Also had a SLO-Brew Blood Orange Hefeweizen soooo tasty, highly recommend. The service was fantastic!, our waitress was phenomenal!.“

“Wow! I mean WOW!!! The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service was even better! The restaurant has a very romantic and cozy feel. The temperature in the restaurant was nice enough that the light cardigan I wore did not need removing and I never felt cold. It's candle lit dim lighting right with a crystal clear view of the bay through the cleanest windows I've ever seen.
We ordered the local halibut and the steak dinner and to say they melted in our mouths is an understatement. To top it off we finished with the most phenomenal blueberry cobbler ice cream. I dare say, I will never find an ice cream that amazing ever again. And if the food and the view aren't enough to convince you, the staff is beyond amazing. Our server made great meal reccomendations, never came when we were mid bite, and we never felt rushed while enjoying our meal.
I recommend making reservations in advanced during busier seasons.“

“I'm only giving a star to service because there's even a sign saying you guys are open with normal hours on new years day(today) and I can't order online or even call.

Yet I can walk in with that sign on the door everything being clean, and no one around at 11:30? What's weird is I've never had the app say I can't order nor have i had calls give me the automated voice saying you're closed.“

“Will always be a favorite. King Arthur with extra sauce is a staple. The new wings with bourbon molasses are incredibly delicious. We/my family, also tried the Maui Zaui and it does have a very unique flavor profile that most of my family were not a fan of; but to each their own. Great staff working and convient location to grab some pizzas (and a beer for my mother).“

“All the staff in the restaurant are great. Bar is wonderful and bartender is super friendly. The dinner items that we ordered:
Nachos - no flavor at all. Could have used salsa and seasoning on the ground meat.
Steak and fries - great flavor if they eased up on the garlic. The cut of meat was not correct for that dish. It was way too chewy. I would have used a skirt steak, medium cooked.
Mac n cheese - no flavor and really soupy. So bland!!!
Breakfast burritos - ask for the potatoes on the side not in the burrito. The chunks are way too big. Flavor was great. Could have used some beans in it.
Biscuits and gravy - really great dish! Seasoned well and the biscuit were buttery. I got the fried chicken on the side. Good crust. Nice flavor. Too thin so it was a little dry. I probably would have preferred the sausage.“

“I came in on Mother’s Day 2026 at opening and asked for their smoked salmon bagel to go, so I could take it home. They went above and beyond to make it “travel friendly” since it was a 5 hour drive back. Got ice and enjoyed it when I got home and it was delicious!! I’ve dined in as well and highly recommend the BLT and the smoked salmon!! I will be returning! Thanks Blue Sky Bistro!!“

“We had great food! Sweat and dour chicken! Orange chicken, beef broccoli, fried shrimp was to die for! Sesiquan beef with onions and fried rice, fried rice with big chunks of chicken! It was fast and very good! Don’t let the 2 star person chance you out!! I have traveled all over the world and the meats were tender, the sauce not too thick or thin! Everything was very smooth and tasteful!!! And presented in large quantities and pleasant to the eye!!
