We have been going for the Krabby Patties and fish tacos for years. Excellent deal. The family sized fish and chips is more potato than fish and would only be okay if you were addicted to carbs and starch.The only complaint I have is they want to charge 50 cents for tartar sauce if they forget to give it to you and your meal. Just not right when it cost them probably a nickel to produce it.
Morro Bay is one of our favorite weekend getaways but we have not been back in several years until this past weekend. We were very happy to see that Lil' Hut remains standing after all these years. Sure there are other options and sit down, full-service restaurants in the area but this for us, Lil' Hut is the place to go. Don't let the shorter lines fool you. I had the fish and chips. Delicious fresh cod, good size pieces with fries (crispy) and tartar sauce. I was afraid since I can so late in the afternoon before they closed that I’d get my stuff cooked in old oil. But, it was good. Chased it down with hot chocolate before my chilly bike ride back to camp. Would come again.
