“Good food and great service. Small little cozy restaurant right next to the bay. Service was friendly from entering in to leaving. Shrimp tacos were tasty. Hamburger was a bit over cooked, but better over cooked than under. Cocktail was tasty but a lot of ice. Fries were perfect and the ranch is tasty. Great views of the bay.”

“One of the best bowls of ramen I have ever had. I can't get enough. The outdoor seating is nice, but for those cold days I wish there was a little indoor spot. Service is excellent.”

“Loved it! Great atmosphere with friendly Host/owner. Menudo was really good, you have the option if you want hominy and even "pata". It came with all the fixing and hit the spot. My wife had banana pancakes and she loved them. We will recommend and return on our next trip.”

“Wow! Amazing place. I came here as a kid and young adult when it was the Aquarium. My new favorite place to visit and grab a bite. I oive Hazy IPA's...and the Marine Layer does not disappoint!! I had to have two because I got the Bratwurst....I'm coming back for another. Wife had the Chicago dog and ...meh...but we then shared the Elote' in a cup...WOW!! Refreshing and delicious!! I will be back!! Awesome staff and super clean bathrooms and establishment!!”

“Beautiful view of the rock, great service, and great food. I had the "Snootie" grilled cheese and my husband had the "Goin back to Cali", and they were both delicious. I would definitely come back to try some of their other breakfast foods.”

“If you are one of the unfortunates who have not discovered Bayside Cafe, you are missing out on an amazing opportunity. Everything at Bayside is exceptional! Friendly service, lovely view of the bay, and always fresh fish on the menu!! My favorite is their fish tacos. Yummy!!”

“Outstanding food. My partner and I are both plant-based and always love to find vegetarian or vegan cafes. This place certainly delivers.The portions are massive, so if you can put away the salad like we can…you’re in luck. Their tempeh is out of this world good, and all the dressings we tried (cilantro and sesame ginger) perfectly accompanied our veggies.Of note, their breakfast menu also includes buckwheat pancakes. I find buckwheat pancakes often hard to find, and the ones we ordered here were some of the best I’ve had.”

“As a local, I can say without question that The Foghorn Brewhouse is a fine establishment in our community, run by the most wonderful people of warmth, hospitality and character. The food is excellent, we especially love the tri-tip and buffalo chicken sandwiches and the variety of drinks is on-point. 5-stars all around, highly recommend!!!”

“This was my first time at Staxx although I have noticed it for many years. We began by choosing a table and looking at the menu. After 5pm there is a "secret menu" which consists of special meat cuts that are verbally listed. We did choose a NY steak the cut was huge and cost about $69 without counting all the additional options. From seating to eating it took a little over an hour but man was the food good. We had zero leftovers at our table. I would say expect to spend about $40-60 per person on average if you are a non-drinker making this a $$$ restaurant. It was definitely good food and I highly recommend the brussel sprouts. The majority of the seating is high tables and there is one sofa seating area. I did love the spanish guitar music they were playing it reminded me of an old CD i had called, 'Azucar- guido Luciani'..... The restraunt accepts reservations and the place seemed to get pretty full by 6pm.”

“The restaurant was in a great spot to view the Morro Rock. The food was exceptional as well as the presentation. The service was great, we were greeted by our waitress Vanessa, she was very nice ,friendly and pleasant. ❤️?? We ordered some fried calamari, it was delicious. Margarita was tasty and a beer. For main course ordered Snapper fish witch came with side of rice pilaf and fresh veggies( it was cooked to perfection). Dinner plate came with side of clam chowder soup or salad. Everything was exceptional. Thank you and hopefully next time we are in the area will be back again. ?❤️”

“My family and I dined at House of Juju in November 2023. We were only in Morro Bay for a few days (Monday and Tuesday) and ate at another establishment the day before; having a horrible experience. When I looked online at the hours for House of Juju for Tuesday it showed they were closed. I was SO disappointed as I was really looking forward to having a delicious meal here. My family and I went down to the water and noticed House of Juju appeared to be open. I called the restaurant to confirm and spoke with Maddy. She was so friendly and confirmed they were open on Tuesday as a trial. I was thrilled! My family and I went in for dinner and had Maddy as our server. She was just as pleasant as she had been on the phone and provided excellent service. We were able to enjoy a delicious meal and watch the sunset from the back of the restaurant. The Juju Bleu burger is AMAZING, along with the clam chowder, and the flatbread! This will continue to be an establishment we will frequent while in town.”

“Great vegetarian food. I love the black bean and cheese taquitos with small salad. It's so much food I can make two meals out of it. The Kind veggie burrito is also very good.Vegetarian options: See above”
