“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Windows on the Water. The dining room has a spectacular view. The service was helpful and attentive. The food was amazing! I enjoyed a poached pear salad and the halibut. My husband had fresh oysters and the scallops. Every bite was delicious and perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back next time we visit Morro Bay.“

“This was a great find! The lobster 🦞 roll was perfectly balanced in flavor and there was a very good amount of meat in the roll. The coleslaw was also tasty and lightly dressed with marinated apples on top. A perfect accompaniment to the roll! Thanks for the friendly, fast service and deliciously buttered bun! “I had lunch at this restaurant while doing a road trip through the PCH. I was really satisfied with the flavor of the food. Perhaps, one of the best Thai food I have ever had. Would love to go back if I ever do that road trip again.“

“We’ve been going to Hofbrau for over 20 years. Just had one of the best meals ever there today. Sat outside on the new glass enclosed deck over the water. Amazing view. Beautiful day. Had the best, tender and flavorful roast beef sandwich- a jailhouse (roast beef, pastrami & provolone - a Reuben and calamari strips. It was all perfect!“

“Shout out to Ryan - one of the best servers we encountered during our entire vacation. He really took care of us and made sure our entire party including our 1 year old was happy with our meals. Great atmosphere to watch a game, have lunch or look out to the bay. Burgers, oysters and bloody’s were all top notch.“

“I can’t believe you could set foot in Morro Bay and NOT set foot in Giovanni’s! Okay, I can accept if you place an order at the walk up window. Either way, you should probably head into the seafood market to peruse or avoid setting foot in the place and order at the walk up window ya louse….“

“We stay at the Inn at Morro Bay often, and it’s such a treat to have a great restaurant right at the hotel. I’ve eaten here many times and it’s always consistently good. I especially love that they have a dog-friendly patio so I can bring my pup along. The bay views are absolutely beautiful, and the service is always wonderful.“

“This place had really good food but they were out of things that I wanted, like shrimp cocktail! I came in from Pennsylvania and my Lord I wanted some shrimp cocktail. And it's hot please see me a little faster I should have gave them a four-star but I'm nice I love the food but the in the atmosphere was amazing“
