“I grew up on this I'm currently 13. It's delicious. I love the pineapple rice and sticky rice with mango and coconut sauce. Drinks are delictable. This is Michelle's oldest daughter, Serina by the way. I wish more people knew about this wonderful place. ❤️❤️❤️Vegetarian options: You can order almost anything and just ask them to remove any meat, chicken, seafood, etc.Dietary restrictions: My mom's allergic to peanuts and they happily adjust things for her.Kid-friendliness: Me and my younger sisters love it, they give us little candies at the end too.“
“Amazing authentic Mexican food! It’s my first being out here in simi Valley and heard about this place. Quesabirria tacos are the bomb!! It’s hard to find a place that has really good ones. And the churros!!!!! Ughh !! Amazing!!!! Definitely coming back!“
“I placed the order via Doordash but driver explained that contents leaked, when she opened the bag it looked like the 2 lids that the extra soup had exploded. Only thing I can figure was that the soup was extra hot and the lids being thin cracked and forced the liquid out into the bag. The Doordash associate reported it and they sent another order. With the 2nd order everything looked great, the chicken was a little tough, I mixed the vegetables and I just couldn't get that ramen soup taste. Veggies were good, noodles were okay, but just wasn't great, maybe I needed to eat it at the restaurant. Will have to check out the other meals they have.“
“Delicious! I had the Mango Caliente sushi roll and OMG it didn't disappoint. My husband had the Mojarra Frita platillo and he really enjoyed it. I think we found our new sushi/mariscos place. The customer service was just as great as their food.“
“The server had his name is Cesar he is amazing, he has great customer service skills very friendly, social and above all he knows his drinks I would definitely recommend this place and if you can ask for him he gives the best customer service . The food was amazing, delicious and at a great price.“
“Amazing food, I’m astonished as how low the stars are given the quality of the service and food in this place.Recently moved to the area and have been looking for an authentic Asian restaurant and I couldn’t be happier with this oneEverything was very well cooked, seasoned and served fairly quickly, and super affordable, the waiter was very attentive yet not distracting. The overall feel of the place feels welcoming.Definitely will be coming back for a lot more“
“Super yummy food! I don't go often because the dinner buffet is out of my budget usually, but the lunch buffet during the week was $16 so I was excited to go back! The food is great. The vibe inside is fine - nothing super special. The staff is fine too - they're really good about getting around a lot to refill drinks and clear plates !“
“I'm a fan of Efrens at every location. It's reasonably priced, decent Mexican food. Big fan of the street tacos. Their menu is fairly large which gives you a lot of different options to pick from. The place is kept fairly clean and the staff has always treated me kindly.“
“Taqueria La Coqueta in Santa Maria offers a delightfully authentic dining experience. The burrito al pastor was a standout, bursting with delicious flavors that leave your taste buds satisfied. The salsa is perfectly crafted, adding a zesty kick to every bite. With the added convenience of a drive-through, it's not just a delicious choice but a convenient one for those on the go.“
“My family and I were in there not too long ago and the food and ambience was perfect. Our waitress, Elyssa, was great! She was fast, professional, and always took the time to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our experience so much and we will definitely be back because of it. Hopefully we can get the same server! We look forward to next time!!!“
“Corona has it going on for unique takes on tacos, and El Rey is worth seeking out. In a recessed mini plaza off 6th Street in the old town, my recommendation is to go before the lunch rush. I dined in both times I visited, and the quality of the food and sides is amazing. Grilled cactus and onions, salsa choices ranging from medium to quite hot, and a wide range of side veggies. It's definitely a popular place, and the steady flow of people is testimony to their quality. They were grilling a bunch of chicken the first time, and it got smoky inside until someone opened a door. My house special burrito had both carne asada and al pastor inside, and everything was perfectly cooked and assembled. I blended two salsas and loved it all. My second visit a week later was equally enjoyable and slightly more expansive. I'd like to try something from the mariscos menu in the future. Until then, go here and try a new take on old favorites.“
