“We went twice in two days...If that doesn't sum up how delicious and fantastic this place is, I don't know what would! We could walk from our hotel so the it was a prime location for us. We sat outside both nights and had little to no wait all (first night it was maybe 10 minutes?). We got multiple dishes both nights, and dessert! We got seafood, pasta, a sandwich! Every single thing we ate was just incredible. The service was also great, attentive, and friendly! Try the molten chocolate cake!“
“We got takeout here awhile back for my husband‘s birthday, and the food was pretty darn good. Definitely hearty comfort food.I would return. When I went to pick up the food, I noticed the vibe felt very cozy in a gemütlich Deetjens sort of way, but they only have indoor dining which unfortunately doesn’t work for me.Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten-free options“
“This is a great place in Cambria if you just want to walk in and sit at a bar, order drinks and some Appetizers. They also have a full menu to sit at a table and dine. But we did find that this was one of the only places to sit at a bar and to order alcohol and food in downtown Cambria. We enjoyed our quick stop in for a couple of beers and some Appetizers!“
“Just terrific! We had crab cakes, barbecued oysters, fish and chips with pinot Grigio wine, and each bite and sip was as satisfying as a meal can be. Lovely service, quirky decor of the kind we especially appreciate -- nothing cookie-cutter, nothing pretentious.I'd go back in a happy second.“
“Its a little old vegas fashioned in style but looks like it does it all. Dancing, live music, diner by day. I had the most delicious pasta ive never had served this way.The waiter was very kind, good, and Johnny on the spot.I look forward to coming here again on my next visit.“
“I had the Seafood Sampler and my wife had the Clam Linguini. The seafood was cooked to perfection. Everything was super tender and fresh tasting. The Shrimp Cocktail was awesome. Also very fresh tasting and not overcooked. Killer cocktail sauce. The Creme Brulee and Lemon cheesecake are to die for.“
“Spent the night in San Simeon and arrived to check in for our hotel at 8:45 pm. Apparently, most places here closes at 9 pm. And sure enough everyone has a closed sign on their window. Saw this place with a few people still inside and decided to pop my head at their door and said "will you please serve us some food". Ha ha ha. I practically begged them and the guy running the place said "I'll take care of you. Come on in". At this point we didn't care what kind of food was left we just wanted to eat. What a great treat that we had some fantastic food. The chicken pesto pasta was nice and creamy. The seafood Cajun pasta had just enough bite in it. Food came out nice and hot and didn't feel or taste like it was rushed. The host and the staff was very accommodating. I truly appreciate the hospitality and thank you so much for feeding a couple of starving travelers.“
“The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was cozy. We thought the food was good but lacked flavor. We ordered Devils on Horseback for appetizers. They were wonderful. My husband had the fresh halibut, and I had the shrimp fettuccine. As dessert, we had the molten chocolate cake and the carrot cake. On a scale of 1-10, this meal was about a 7.“
