“Brian's Buoy Bar is a great place to go and have a good cocktail or an ice cold beer and the quick food menu is tasty too,as a local I love it when I get to spend time there, it's like Cheers..sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name.“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“My sister and I took a walk down memory lane that included having a couple of drinks here for her birthday - the same bar where she had her first legal drink over 20 years ago. Ed is a great bartender and pours a stellar old fashion. This place is worth a stop if you are in the area!“

“Stopped in by happen-stance. Great vibe...old dive atmosphere. Bartender (Garrett) was super-nice. Drinks were above average. Place offered tri-tip sandwich (potluck style...as in for free, excllent taste).

Highly recommend. Hidden gem in Los Osos. Definitely coming back.“
