“Excellent service , food presentation ! Great meat selections! I myself am a fish lover - wish there were more choices for the non- meat eaters. My husband loved the elk !”
“We stopped by on a Saturday evening to see live music by Rob and Denise. The Porch was really nice inside and food and service were excellent. They have burgers, salads, and sandwiches and a unique selection of bar bites. They also had a good selection of local beers, wines, seltzers, and Kombucha (not a full bar). Live music every Saturday from 5:30p - 7:30p. We will be back again!”
“Went for bagels, but they were sold out. Their baked goods were good. Seems to be a fun place to grab a bite and hang out - when we went, all tables were filled, so we had to take our order to go.”
“Jessica was amazing, super sweet and funny !! The food was delicious. Definitely a vibe once you come in. So many cool things to look at around on the walls. Overall had a great experience.”
“A+. This place was amazing! The steak, the brussel sprouts, the service. All of it. It was all fantastic! I highly recommend stopping in and giving this place a try. We stopped in while on vacation from Oklahoma and we were happy that we did.”
“This place lived up to the hype! I got the Dutch Punch and loved it. The dutch crunch bread added the sweet, bacon added the savory, avocado added the creamy, and the spicy mayo brought a slight heat. Such a unique combination that totally works! Ordering ahead saved me the wait and my orderly was perfectly made. Highly recommend for those in search of fresh, local sandos!”
“Enjoyed this sweet little spot more than I anticipated. Enjoyed a Cinnamon brown sugar coffee, house specialty, and it was incredibly flavorful; I'm going to try to replicate it at home; such a great twist on my usual drip coffee. Staff was very friendly & hospitable and brought the drink to the table which I appreciate - few spots do that these days. Music was lovely and in the background, not too loud, and had a sweet Latino flair to match the cafe. Sat in a light-filled window seat and started my day perfectly. I didn't order breakfast but they had a beautiful little menu with a lot of hot selections which seemed very substantial - breakfast tortas, quesadillas and burritos.”
“We've eaten Ziggy's every time we come to SLO and stay at my wife's favorite place, the Madonna Inn. Every damn time, Ziggy's is one of the highlights that I look forward to. I love the KCK Korean cauliflower salad, the buffalo chicken sando, the breakfast burrito, avocado egg rolls, the crunch wrap, the mushroom burger, the ratchet fries, and more! 10/10 would recommend.”
“Nate’s on Marsh was a truly delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was both cozy and elegant, and the owner and server went above and beyond to accommodate our celiac dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in the area.Dietary people in our family have celiac disease, and our waiter and the owner personally made sure that our dishes were prepared gluten-free. They even called the maker of one of their products to ensure it was 100% gluten-free. We have eaten at Nate’s on Marsh several times, and none of our celiac family members have gotten sick. The servers and owner make you feel welcome and are very supportive of your dietary restrictions, and open to making food substitutions for you.Parking: Plenty of paid street parking is available, and there is limited free parking in their parking lot. We have eaten at Nate’s on Marsh several times, and we haven’t had any issues with parking.”
“The ambiance was very eclectic ,my daughter took me here for a birthday brunch and the service was good and the food was delicious .We were so comfy with the different places to sit here and also the the cool things to look at everywhere and our server was so friendly”
“My mother and I visited SLO a few days back and thoroughly enjoyed eating here. As a result of my mother's recent medical complications, she has had to abide by a severe diet that often precludes her from enjoying restaurant meals with friends and family. The NOVO staff, however, were unbelievably accommodating, sitting down with me prior and going in detail over what ingredients she can and can't intake, before prescribing potential substitutions and offering her not just one, but a few options. She LOVED IT! It has been incredibly hard to find restaurants that have been so willing to provide a warm and tailored meals. So thank you to everyone!”
“They’ve got happy hour!! Plus their premium club membership is a steal. Idk how this place isn’t always packed, our favorite spot to start the evening or grab a glass after work.”
“Went here on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted right away. Everyone who works there is so nice. One of the ladies from the back brought out some egg rolls for our daughter. This is a great place to take the whole family. I felt like I a regular. After going, I will be. The food not only tastes great, but the portions are great. They also have plenty of parking which is hard to find in SLO.”
“This is a really cute place. The owner of Susy stopped and chatted with me as I was sitting outside. Her son who was behind the grill did an amazing job. It’s hard to find healthy food when you travel, but here I found an amazing vegetarian burrito that was grilled to perfection. Full of tomato, lettuce, onions, avocado, beans, and rice. It was delicious and filling And healthful!”
“We pulled this place up on Google Maps because we were looking for fish n chips. Well, they don't serve that at this location and good thing because I never would have tried The Duke, which was FANTASTIC! My kid got the Bogy Burger and a custom shake, both delicious. I would highly recommend this 50's themed diner. Our waitress Sarah was cool and friendly. Oh, and the custom mixed Cola was good, which is a lot from this Coca Cola forever fan.”
“Always a great place for deli salads, pizza, and pasta. I ordered a slice of Margarita pizza, the Caprese salad with ripe grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, olives, red peppers, and sliced jalapenos, and lemonade. This combo is less than $13. Fresh ingredients are brought in daily for their dishes. Service is fast and friendly. Plenty of parking in this strip mall and outdoor seating. Highly recommend it!”
“Cool SLO vibe up in here, delicious coffee and pastries - there's a line to order and a line to pick up when it's busy. Looks like a good place to study and visit, too. Friendly & studious counter staff.”
“The baked goods are amazing. The muffins are all recommendable and as an almond lover - the almond marzipan mini pie is phenomenal. The folks working were quick to greet me and were warm and friendly. I don’t know how I just discovered this spot but it will definitely be my new breakfast place.”
“Great little hole-in-the-wall place with amazing food! My kids and I got three different dishes and loved them all. Great customer service and the lady was very friendly and sweet.”
“Service and taste of food was excellent! Value when it came to the salad price fell short. $15.00 for a Cesar salad that only filled half the small bowl, to say this a shareable salad is a joke!! Add more lettuce!!! For the salad to be $15 and a big pizza be $20-25 just doesn't make sense. Food was excellent. Bit noisy as well but fun atmosphere.”
“Good take out and dine in place. Better quality Mexican food than many restaurants. Food comes out quick and meat is good quality. Nacho plate is huge. The pickled carrots and jalapeños were a great touch. We will be back!”
“By far my favorite place to go and have a nice lunch in SLO. The staff here is fantastic, they are always so kind and place the customer first. The food is consistently amazing thanks to Miguel. Jeff and Crystal behind the counter are always super welcoming and have always made sure I am taken care of.”
“Good food, good ambience. People who’re visiting SLO and would like some authentic northern Italian cuisine should try this place out. They’ve got a good selection of wines as ”
“What can I say? Joebella's coffee is a treat. They roast it on site. We always buy their beans to have coffee at home too. They offer yummy breakfast treats and what's better than a latte that comes delivered complete with art?! Spoke to a super friendly barista, Makena who helped me decide on different beans since I always lean towards the Velvet. Velvet is my favorite. Ended up getting some Sumatra and the House Roast, loved both of these too! This place is always packed with what seems to be the regulars. You know a place is good when the regulars are frequenting often. Great place! Does not disappoint!”
“SO good!! The pizza by the slice is fantastic, and other spots in town don't compare IMO. The slices are thicker than the typical New York style, but zero complaints. It tasted homemade in the best way. Chef's kiss! The place is also super clean and you can tell they care about their business.”
“Mistura is Amazing, very highly recommended. I have been a frequent customer at Mistura over the last few years and it never disappoints me. Everything on their menu is delicious! Ambiance is great, very friendly staff and specially the chef and owner Nicola Allegretta is always very kind and makes us feel welcome every time.Mistura is a modern Peruvian restaurant that offers traditional elements of Peruvian Cuisine by using Peruvian ingredients and also locally sourced, natural and organic ingredients. My favorite dishes are Arroz con Marisco, Escabeche and Muy Machito (Fresh White Seabass Fillet cooked with spicy Aji Amarillo, Clams, Mussels, Shrimps, Calamari and White Wine served with Peruvian White Rice) love it! ? and Rompe Muelle one of their cebiche. Everything is so DELICIOUS.”
“This is the junk food place we needed but didn't ask for - Wonderful grub and great staff - Will continue to love the garlic steak :DParking: Parking kinda weird not horrible but just deal with it, well worth it.”
“This place is great.., cute little spot and the food (I had breakfast) was sooo delicious, I've never had a waffle like this and it's by far the best ever! They take your order before you sit and it being my first time here they were amazing at explaining different menu items, shortly after I sat my meal was brought to me, I sat in the window over looking the park across the street and people watched as they went by. Definitely recommend this place.”
“Great beer and food that reminded us of hanging out at Gasthause in Germany during our trips there. I also appreciated that the mostly closed-in/covered patio was warm and dry during this heavy rain season, but was still dog friendly (as any authentic Biergarten would be).”
“Our first time here tasting. Also enjoyed the food offering for lunch. Had the French onion soup -was delicious! Savanna was our host and did a great job of providing information on both the wines and food. Parking lot was a little tight”
